@labs_vanguard I’ve never had an issue and big fan of my 10 speed and 3.0L Duramax. I can haul my boat if I need and also get 28-30mpg commuting to work. Doubt I would get that mpg with 4 less gears.

There is no reason any light or medium duty vehicle needs more than 6 gears.
That was peak comfort and efficiency.
These modern 10 speeds are all garbage.
So are the twin turbo v6’s.
The real enemy is the EPA by the way because both the 10 speeds and over engineered little shit box engines are a result of regulations imposed on automakers.

I will never buy another Ford... Wife has a 2019 we bought new. It only has 41k miles on it and we have had to put $5k into it already this year... A/C stopped working Transmission was slipping And yesterday it threw a check engine light... How can a 2019 with very light use have this many issues... Meanwhile my 2016 has 144k miles and I have had to do oil changes and install a new blinker bulb.
