Last week I learned that a serious software error in New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle System led to the registration of roughly 6,600 people who indicated that they were not U.S. citizens between June 2023 and June 2024, almost three years prior to my taking office. These individuals answered "no" when asked on a keypad whether they were a U.S. citizen when applying for drivers' licenses and identification cards, but through no fault of their own, the system registered them anyway. This happened under the previous administration and, upon learning this information, I immediately ordered my chief counsel to launch an investigation to get to the bottom of what occurred. I also ordered the removal of any residents from our voter rolls who were erroneously added between June 2023 and June 2024. The new MVC Administrator that I appointed has begun the process of replacing the vendor responsible for administering the system. Our preliminary analysis shows fewer than 400 individuals who were newly registered for the first time because of the error voted. They were registered as Democrats, Republicans and Unaffiliated voters and were scattered across the state. I want to underscore how seriously I take this matter. As a military veteran who swore an oath to defend our Constitution, and as a former federal prosecutor, I believe the integrity of our elections is fundamental to our democracy. I am appalled by the reckless failures that allowed this to happen and the lack of transparency shown by those in charge at the time. This failure didn’t occur under my watch, but accountability starts now. I am taking action to prevent anything like it from occurring in the future and make sure those responsible are held accountable. As the Trump Administration tries to weaponize elections for political gain, I am ensuring we protect our elections. Let me be clear: Donald Trump has zero credibility on the issue of election integrity. For more than ten years, he has worked to undermine Americans' faith in our elections by spreading lies about legitimate election results, attempting to overturn a free and fair election, encouraging an attack on our Capitol when he couldn't accept the will of the voters, and defunding election security at the federal level. The difference is simple: when we find a problem, we don't hide it, deny it, or invent conspiracies. We investigate it, we fix it, and we tell the public. That's what accountability and good governance look like, and that's exactly what my administration is doing. New Jerseyans should have confidence that every eligible citizen can vote, every lawful vote will be counted, and every reasonable step will be taken to protect the integrity of our elections. That's my responsibility, and it's one I will never stop fighting to uphold.

How do you punish this behaviour? Its reckless and antisocial, but prison would obviously be excessive. Our other options - community service, fines etc. - he would probably laugh off and ignore. Maybe we need to bring back the stocks...

🚨BREAKING: ICE/Border Patrol claimed to stop a driver over an alleged traffic violation, then illegally turned the stop into an immigration investigation… interrogating both the driver and a 13-year-old child about their citizenship, even though both were U.S. born citizens. Border Patrol claimed the driver’s reverse lights were stuck on and that it was illegal. But within seconds, the conversation had nothing to do with the alleged traffic violation. Instead, the agent immediately began asking: “What’s your citizenship?” “Where were you born?” “Do you have ID?” After the driver repeatedly explained that he was a U.S. citizen, the agent turned his attention to the 13-year-old passenger. The driver told him, “He’s a kid. He is only 13.” The agent questioned the child anyway, asking his citizenship, where he was born, his name, and his date of birth, before writing down his information to run an immigration check. They were both released because they were U.S. citizens. But constitutional rights don’t depend on whether the government eventually decides you’re an American. Border Patrol using the alleged traffic violation, as a pretext, to investigate immigration, without independent reasonable suspicion, violates the Fourth Amendment. A lawful traffic stop generally cannot be prolonged to investigate unrelated matters, without additional legal justification. The agent also threatened to call local police because the driver refused to hand over his ID to Border Patrol. Most disturbing of all, a federal agent interrogated a 13-year-old child about his citizenship, and collected his personal information, despite no apparent evidence that he had committed any crime. If federal agents can stop you over an alleged traffic violation, immediately demand to know where you were born, interrogate your child, and require you to prove you belong here… Then the constitutional protections, that are supposed to protect every American, are becoming meaningless.

I think it more has to do with the fact that the roles have flipped. Left-Leaning creators ive seen advocate for ppl's Rights no matter the situation: Right to protest, right to bear arms, right for probable cause, right against unlawful seizure, right to require warrants to bust in peoples homes, etc. We all agree. Right-Leaning Creators used to do that, now it seems they just want compliance these days (since they believe they are in charge) obedience and no questions asked, kiss the boot. no matter what. 🚨OSTROUSHKO UPDATE: Paige Ostroushko, who violently assaulted me in Minneapolis, has voluntarily dismissed her restraining order against me after her parents LOST against me in court. Reminder, that after attacking me, the entire family LIED on legal documents to get “ex-parte” restraining orders issued against me in an attempt to stop me from reporting on them. DeYanna also personally went to the police department to try and get me ARRESTED for reporting on how she, Chris and Paige have been utilizing these restraining orders to try and silence me. Thankfully, I won my court hearing and Chris and DeYanna’s restraining orders against me were DENIED by a Hennepin County judge. Paige has now voluntarily dismissed her case and doesn't seem to want to show up to make her case, despite putting on a legal document that I have been “threatening” and "doxxing" her and her family. Chris and DeYanna state that they have lost $300,000 in employment income and state they’ve been getting death threats (although they submitted ZERO evidence to prove these allegations when we went to court). Another WIN against the violent Ostroushko family who have been federally indicted and have their next pre-trial motion hearing on September 1st. They’re also facing the civil suit I’ve brought against them and they have until the 29th of this month to respond.
