How much is President Trump willing to forgive Putin? He’s helping the Iranians attempt to kill Americans, and Trump doesn’t seem all that bothered by it at all. It’s not even worth some harsh words. We’ve seen the president rage on Truth Social about Fed Chair Jerome Powell, actor and director Rob Reiner, or New York Times journalists who he keeps giving exclusive interviews. But no matter what Putin does, Trump never seems to get all that angry about him.

Trump is criticized for his inconsistency in nearly everything, flip-flopping sentence to sentence even about a war he started. But on one thing he is incredibly consistent: never criticizing Vladimir Putin and promoting Russian interests.

Europe told Trump and Vance, clearly and seriously, that Russia’s war against Ukraine and its hybrid warfare campaign across the continent represents the greatest security threat Europe has faced since 1945. Europe said this as a NATO ally. As a partner of seven decades. As a bloc that has housed American bases, funded American adventures, and sent its sons to die in American wars without much complaint. Trump and Vance looked at this and said: not our problem. It’s happening on your continent. We have important things to attend to. The important things turned out to be nothing. There were no important things. There was golf, there was television, and there was a remarkable amount of time spent being angry about things on the internet. Then, approximately some months later, the same administration announced it intended to seize Greenland. A sovereign territory. From a NATO ally. By force if necessary. So to summarise: defending Europe from an actively invading nuclear power is not America’s problem. Illegally annexing a Danish island in the Arctic is apparently a matter of urgent national interest. Now. If anyone in the MAGA universe is sitting there expecting Europe to provide diplomatic cover, logistical support, intelligence sharing, or a single sympathetic press release for whatever America is currently doing in the Middle East, I have some news for you. You told us you weren’t our allies. We were listening. You don’t get to turn the alliance on and off depending on which direction the aggression is pointing. That is not how it works. We are at war with Iran. Russia is aiding Iran, as usual. Russia is helping Iran target our troops. Ukraine is helping us, in combating Iranian drones. And Trump, as usual, is dumping on Zelensky and boosting Putin. I ask my friends on the right: How can you stand it?

Acting as though this is ever going to change just wastes time. No matter how much Russia attacks American interests, even supporting Iran now, Trump remains loyal to Putin. Even Ukraine aiding US forces and allies, Trump must attack Zelenskyy. Europe must act to defend itself.

The Hungarian opposition is up against an axis of Trump, Putin, and, of course, Orbán. What an achievement that would be, if the opposition won. Tears in the Kremlin and the White House both. What a world this has become.

It’s crazy that Ukraine has provided more military aid to the US this year than the US has provided to Ukraine. What’s even crazier is that Ukraine is the country currently at war, fighting for its existence. Let that sink in.

This is a remarkable table. It shows that to all intents and purposes the UK currently doesn’t have a navy it can deploy. It is a national scandal. But, of course, nobody — political or military — will be held accountable, much less sacked.

If the U.S. military confirmed we "accidentally" killed 175 civilians, including lots of kids, and Joe Biden said he did not know anything about the report, the entire media industrial complex would have collapsed on itself like a dying star.

Trump has used his office to enrich himself on a Mobutu scale. He could amply afford to buy American-made dress shoes for his courtiers and henchmen. But no, cheap Chinese shoes it is for Team Trump - and in the wrong sizes too, to make it extra humiliating.
