Good morning Familia. 🌅 God takes us into His family, He establishes us as His children and heirs. Closeness, affection, and generosity are at the heart of the relationship with Him. To be loved and cared for by God the Father is the greatest love of all! Wether we can say I have an earthly father who is wonderful, or my father disappointed me, or I never knew my father on earth; the truth is that all of us have a positive ideal of fatherhood by which we he judge our own and others’ fathers. God has not left us to guess what His fatherhood amounts to by drawing analogies from human fatherhood. He revealed the full meaning of His relationship through Jesus. The thought of our Maker becoming our perfect parent- faithful in love and care, generous and thoughtful, interested in all we do, respecting our individuality, skillful in training us, wise in guidance, always available, helping to find ourselves in maturity, integrity and uprightness- is a thought that can have meaning for all believers. To those who are Christ’s, the holy God is a loving Father; we belong to His Family; we may approach Him without fear and always be sure of His Fatherly concern and care. This is our Family covenant, as believers we are His Children, His own sons and daughters, no matter what family dynamic we were raised in on earth. The relationship is always there for you, Amen! ❤️🙏😊👊🏼

Vulnerable moment: For the last six to eight weeks, I just haven’t been feeling it. Nothing is wrong, actually quite the opposite, but things have been very busy and different. This has created challenging change for me, and has required a ton of different focus. But it has left me with the feeling of disconnect with the hobby community. I’ve been simply going through the motions of everything - buying, selling, breaking, interactions, and #RAKoftheDAY. Trust me when I say that I haven’t lost my spark for this, but it’s not where I want it to be right now. The most fun I have is when conversations are had, connections are made, and people and missions are impacted. At the beginning of the year, I set my sites on becoming a certified 501c3 nonprofit, and that is still the end game, but it’s likely not going to happen this calendar year. I’m ready for it, but I’ve done a lot of talking and thinking lately with people smarter than me. Some changes are in the works to enhance the impact, make the hobby stand out more, and grow our community. I’m not stopping, I’m growing, but at a slower pace than originally expected. So I feel like I need to apologize if I haven’t been as present with you, or maybe missed a chance to connect, or just haven’t responded. I’m here and I’m trying to get back to the person that you expect and the person I want to be for this hobby. Let’s keep pushing forward! Thank you, everyone!

I’m starting to read the Bible and I’m using Erika Kirk’s app to read it in a year. I want to use an actual Bible, too. The only Bible I have is a KJV. Bible readers, what is an easier version to read, but one that still feels…..sacred, I guess? If that makes sense.
