Why on earth would any Texan care what the deep blue-state, New Jersey hedge fund-owned & operated "news"paper thinks about Texas elections? The New Jersey StarTelegram hasn't been locally or Texan-owned for 20 years.. The New Jersey hedge fund purchased it out of bankruptcy from California-based McClatchy in 2020. It prints only three days a week now and they had a permanent resident of NYC on their editorial board. There's absolutely nothing Fort Worth, much less Texas, about the StarTelegram other than the name of the city in its title. @DallasExpress @startelegram

Bo French has won the race for Texas Railroad Commissioner by a little more than 1% against incumbent Jim Wright.
Both Republican incumbents in today's R primary runoff - Cornyn and Wright - were defeated by challengers perceived as more conservative.

Final thoughts before the polls close. First, prediction markets aren’t election results. Second, Kalshi had Ken Paxton at 82% on March 3rd, so the people sharing the current market acting like Pedophile Plea Deal Paxton is already the GOP nominee are goofy.
