@PaulTassi @Forbes Summarizes my thoughts pretty well. I uninstalled after realizing I probably won't ever see Compiler and on top of that even if I do the massive amount of time required to be prepared for that plus the loot acquired just disappears with a reset anyway. Moving on for now.

My thoughts on the Marathon Cryo Archive & world first races: 1) A solid 75% of players will likely never see the Compiler boss in Cryo Archive with the pure level of structure it takes to get there. 2) I expect key & subroutine drop rates to be heavily affected in the very near future w/ how RNG drops currently are. High-risk gameplay loop makes higher drop rate effect-negligible. 3) Highly expect Cryo Archive teams to partner together to get to Compiler fight…whether they share loot or betray each other remains to be seen. 4) Weekends only was the best design decision possible for the impact of Cryo Archive. 5) I hope Bungie migrates every dev who made Marathon back to Destiny 2 with the same design mindset.

If you also consider the loot loss as a factor, Cryo may be the most brutal shooter map I’ve ever seen
