@DanBigham

I do my best to try and grow things for a living. KSU grad. And the days that I keep my gratitude higher than my expectations, well, I have really good days.

Thinking about changing things up between now and next spring, so if anyone would be interested in a 16 row Krause Gladiator and a 16 row 1725 John Deere Exactemerge planter give me a shout.

Another perk is when cow prices are high Bayer, Corteva, Nutrien, Koch et al can't just raise all their prices to remove your profits

Did someone at Deere actually think these cup holders would successfully hold anything?

Want to feel old. If Austin Powers came out this yr, he would have been frozen in 1996.

@_TheMizzouTiger This one is ten years old and it was way cheaper than a similar houred/year Deere. Bought it on auction, was on dealer lot and went for under half what he had it listed for. Most used piece of equipment and highest ROI on the farm

@DanBigham I don’t see how you guys afford those newer sprayers. I mean they pay better than a combine but it just seems like they have gone up 3X in price

Rail cars that look like that have rocks, maybe for railroad base have solar panels on them. What would that be for?

They’re always about a dollar higher here than the other truck stop right across the interstate. The Loves lot is always full, and it’s not for lack of other fueling options. It’s amazing what a guy will pay for fuel when they get to walk into a clean store, clean restrooms, shower, and fresh food options.

@erschwenke Yes run narrow Yetters with cleansweep and never had a problem. JD1790. Helps tremendously when your row units are in a line and not staggered

Is anyone running row cleaners on a 20” planter no-tilling into corn stalks? Are the rows far enough apart that the trash will flow?

Does anyone make an insert for a 2150 planter so the bulk hoppers will actually empty out? @Case_IH @SiekerSales

@j_lew_21 @Case_IH Ya the 1250s had that and they removed it, used it at least once a year it seems. Season 2 of this one and luckily haven't been there yet

@DanBigham @Case_IH @SiekerSales How about a freaking gate so when something gets stuck in the bottom you can shut it off and open up the bottom without dumping the whole tank or shoveling it to the other side.
