This game is so ass. I’m sorry losing Metsa shouldn’t lead to a complete breakdown for two games in a row like this. He played 10-12 minutes a night. I love the guy, but these are old habits from the start of the season that are creeping back into their game

Sabres need to change their 3/3 Overtime strategy because it’s not working. Didn’t control the puck at all in OT and we lose. Great start to the 3rd period and the power play looked tremendous again. But effort was not good enough and I’m sorry if that hurts your feelings

Thoughts from this #Sabres overtime loss: - Stop taking Zach Metsa out of the lineup. - Maybe time to roll with Alex Lyon a bit, mix in Colten Ellis more too? - Clean up the sloppiness with the puck. - Shoot the damn puck. - A point’s a point, but close out these games.
