See……this is the B.S. I’m talking about. This is a disgusting thing coming from our Commander In Chief — especially about a VETERAN and PURPLE HEART recipient. #DamnShameful!

After the birth of my son that same night my coach called me & while I thought he was calling to congratulate me he told me on the phone “remember what your day job is.” I remember sitting in the hospital mad and confused. It’s not even this situation that comes to mind when I think about mental health awareness in the NFL. Ask any player that’s suffered from injury and ask them how excluded they feel from the team. The only time a coach talks to you is when he’s basically threatening your job so you rush back knowing you aren’t 100%. I’ll continue to speak up for the players who feel they can’t because of that toxic culture.

It’s dinner rush, the kitchen is slammed, and orders are stacking up. A delivery driver waiting on a pickup gets frustrated when the order runs late. Words are exchanged. Tempers flare. Instead of walking away, he starts swinging at the restaurant staff in the middle of the lobby, customers watching, phones out, and chaos everywhere. All over a delayed order. Honestly, gig work can be stressful. Restaurants get overwhelmed. But losing control like that doesn’t speed up food. It just speeds up consequences. “Employee of the month”? More like a reminder that professionalism matters, especially when things don’t go your way. When did waiting a few extra minutes become justification for throwing hands?

@KingMinionBob @jeffphowe Yes he did, he had lesser talented OLs too but he always read the defenses and got rid of the ball for a completion for taking the sacks. Best of all time. Maye didn't even try to read the blitz, they kept using the same CB blitz which leaves the WR wide open and Maye missed it

A few takeaways from Super Bowl LX: 1. The Patriots' greatest vulnerability was their offensive line, and it was exposed by the Seahawks' greatest strength. Sometimes it can just be that simple. 2. Drake Maye never had a chance to showcase his best stuff because of that. He's also had a tendency to show nerves early. That's an obvious area in need of improvement, and I am confident in his makeup to solve it. By the time he would've normally settled down, similarly to the AFCCG in Denver, the hits and pass rush were already mounting. There isn't a QB on the planet who can absorb 21 sacks over four playoff games -- the first four of his career, no less -- and be at his best. 3. But when Maye got too sped up, he never slowed down with enough consistency. That led to unforced errors when there were plays to be made. That'll improve with more help around Maye, but he's got to take ownership of slowing down his process in chaotic moments. It's rarely going to be perfect, especially on the biggest stages. 4. Will Campbell had a really bad night, but I'm not ready to use this as a referendum on his career. He showed too much potential before his knee injury, and he didn't perform up to the same standard after his return. I'm looking to see how he responds next season.

@Raindropsmedia1 Smart of him to create this narrative. He is about to get paid. He will win in court, especially given the context and augmentation of the video, plus the fact that he has a prior restraining order on the woman in question, and people witnessed her threaten his life.

Corey Holcomb says TMZ has ruined his life. He claims he can’t get any shows, and the ones he had are all being canceled. He blames them for releasing videos of him punching comedian Cristina Payne in the face — an accusation he previously denied. ‘Y’all got me good, TMZ. I’m ’bout to be out here on welfare.’

Exactly. As we have been ranting all am. The process is a disaster and flawed. But as voter it isn't your job to fix it. YOU VOTE FOR BEST CANDIDATES STARTING WITH BEST COACH EVER! Also if you didn't know Roger Craig was legendary snub until 2021 that's a problem. And Ken Anderson over BB... come on now.
Jonathan Jones@jjones9

There's a narrative that has started to take root that Belichick isn't in the HOF because of a flawed voting process. Rubbish. Voters should select the most deserving candidates. And it should have been clear he is deserving.

We are all rightfully disgusted about Bill Belichick’s Hall of Fame snub, but we should’ve been this loud when @terrellowens was messed over by the same voters. Maybe, we wouldn’t be here now! There is no yes or no with Bill Belichick. His resume fully cements him amongst the greats, but so did TO’s. We allowed pettiness, personal gripes and biases to make Owens wait. Now, it strikes again with the 🐐. Some of this is on us! #HallOfFame #BillBelichick #NFL #FirstTake

Bo Nix’s presser today was a DIRECT RESPONSE to Sean Payton’s comments yesterday. Sean: Broken ankle wasn’t if but when…it was predisposed. Bo: Nothing predisposed. Simple break. Easy surgery. 4-6 weeks. He said it over and over. Bo: Sean shouldn’t have said how many surgeries I’ve had because he doesn’t know This is part of why losing Davis Webb would suck. Webb is the liaison between coach and QB. Not saying there’s bad blood between Bo and Sean… but that bridge matters.
