Requiring proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections is an 80/20 issue. Last year during an interview, I made a mistake by referring to people in the DeFlock group as terrorists. I was wrong to say that, and I should have cleared this up a long time ago. That's my fault. Around the time of the interview, I was hearing reports of ALPR-avoidance apps being used (on occasion) for serious crime avoidance, and I conflated that with legitimate criticism. Being concerned about your privacy or how your local law enforcement agency conducts its operations isn’t terrorism, it’s American. DeFlock is not a terrorist organization, it’s an open source project that has gained popularity primarily due to our inadequate response to the questions and concerns that people have about ALPR.  Over the last 8 years, nearly 7,000 towns, cities and counties in America have purchased our ALPR cameras. While these cameras have done a tremendous amount of good in those communities, the recent awareness surrounding their existence has also spiked a fair share of criticism. I think we have failed to answer these questions and concerns at scale, and we are going to do a better job of that moving forward. I know @Rahul has banked a bunch of questions from X last week for us to answer, but feel free to reply with more here. He and I are going to do our best to catch up on these and answer them.

Flock. Orchestra. ClearView AI. Axon. Others. They all serve the same purpose: Mass surveillance and the very real threat of subjugation/control of the American people. Freedom > Safety. I'd rather be free than safe. What about you?

Getting a lot of mixed comments in this so I will elaborate why they shouldn’t be in positions of power. I used to believe women in positions of power would be a civilizing force. That their empathy would soften male aggression and bring balance. Instead, that empathy has been hijacked and transformed into a suicidal empathy: a reflexive compassion that prioritizes outsiders, abstract causes, and self-flagellation over the protection and continuity of their own societies. Marxist-inspired influences in academia and media have skillfully redirected it toward civilizational self-destruction, turning a potential strength into destruction. We are here folks. Liberal women are pushing ideas on society that is detrimental to American values and our core. Diversity is not strength. It’s weakness and our downfall.
