@almost_cooking @PlayStation @Sony Good. Maybe try not to screw over your consumers at every chance. Ive been a PS fan since 1996, Sony lost me 2 weeks ago with this ridiculous decision to obtain a monopoly and more profit at our expense and consumer rights. Serves them right

Some education / updates time about the @PlayStation situation. Sony stock was worth $30 As of right now their stock is worth $20 To put in perspective, Sony is projected to lose more money, if they lose $5 more, they lose 50% of their highest value in history. Go broke @Sony

@XPulseGames @Lord_PSMG Its hardly a natural end when Sony are pushing this from their side. Physical games still sell. This IS NOT about the natural evolution of media, anybody can see that. This is an artificial termination to yield sole control over the market, at the expense of their consumers

@PlayStation Not going to buy this. Likely you'll just remove the ability to use it in favor of a virtual controller at some point anyway. I though you hated physical?!

Movies and music are in a better place IMO. I still buy new CD's all the time. Certain genres are better for physical media than others. I still get the rare movie. Streaming has also made them so cheap to collect for. I've been into having everything offline for so long. I'm easily ready for this. I never thought the PS5 was great to begin with. I can't stand the always being connected to the Internet for everything.

@skeletonwizar @FreakZoneGames Im the opposite here. A huge advocate of blu ray and 4k movies. As an avid rewatcher of movies, so often I check online and the movies I want aren't on any streaming platform. Physical ownership is essential for me and so many others who view movies as essential to their lives

@skeletonwizar @FreakZoneGames And this isn't isolated to just gaming. Music, movies, books, its all going digital/subs. People wont own anything. Online is great, its convenient, but its also damaging to ownership. If the PS3 had gone all digital at the start, it would all cease to exist by the end of 2026.

@FreakZoneGames The issues isn't about disks, It's about now owning your games. I'm more shocked that people don't understand what DRM free and not being tied to the Internet to play your games means.

@xMBGx You hit the nail on the head saying we've put up with ALOT! If the price hikes didn't affect you, maybe the removal of digital content did, or the increase of PS Plus, and now the stopping of physical. They've screwed up so much, something will affect every player eventually

Hey, Sony. Long time customer here. If it wasn't for the used game market, I wouldn't have gotten into your brand's ecosystem in 2009, meaning I wouldn't eventually stay with the PS4 or buy a brand new PS5 and games with my own money. With all due respect, go fuck yourselves.
