The case is Hoffa v. United States, 385 U.S. 293 (1966). Yes, *that* Hoffa — this was the appeal from Jimmy Hoffa’s conviction for jury tampering.

3. It’s time to experiment with the SG’s banana-overload breakfast. She is ridiculously phenomenal after all, and while I doubt it’s the bananas, I’m willing to try to find out!

Just returned from London, where I spotted these smoking jackets (and smoking hats/fezzes) in a swanky men’s shop. I don’t think I’ve ever wanted fundamentally ridiculous clothes more. But then again, I’m a 57-year-old who still wears concert tees, so I’m already ridiculous.

DISRUPTION INSIDE THE SUPREME COURT: at start of arguments at 10am, 3 women rose separately at back of the courtroom to protest overturning Roe v Wade. “The right to choose will not be taken away,” said one. All 3 were taken out of the courtroom; none of the Justices responded.
