20 years ago, when I transitioned, we’d have honest conversations with each other if we were far enough along to use the ladies.
Early along, many of us are not ready. Someone will never be capable of using the ladies in a non-disruptive way. But many of us do get to a point where it’s silly and disruptive to expect us to use the men’s.

This underscores why it was a dumb idea to shut down Australian domestic oil refinery capability and to rely upon China to replace it.
Australia looks like far less of a useful US ally in the event of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan as a result of current events.

China has cut Australia off for Jet A1 fuel (kerosene), all of next months shipments cancelled. Normally 12/month. There’s one ship inbound. That’s it. China is Australia’s largest Jet Fuel supplier.

That’s my home.
The place I was born. The streets I know by heart. The people who raised me. The memories that didn’t disappear just because Russia decided to invade.
And now the idea is simple: trade it away for “security guarantees.”
There is nothing secure about abandoning your home.
No deal, no pressure, no politician gets to decide that my home, our home, is expendable.
Donbas is not a negotiation point.
It’s where we come from.
And we’re not giving it away. Period!

Yesterday was the largest combined Russian attack on Ukraine. During the day, Russia launched 556 drones, and only 15 of them reached their targets - just about 3%.
Ukraine’s air defense shoots down up to 95-97% of drones targeting civilian cities, and this happens every day.

Today, Russia launched one of its most massive attacks on Ukraine. Russia launched 556 drones during the day and another 392 at night. In total, 948 drones of various types were launched at Ukraine on March 24, 2026. The previous 'record' was 811 drones, which Russia launched on September 7, 2025. During the daytime attack, the strikes covered a larger area than at night: the Poltava, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, and Vinnytsia regions, as well as the western regions of the country, from Khmelnytskyi to Lviv. Unfortunately, 15 hits were recorded. ◾️ Ivano-Frankivsk - two people were killed and four more were injured, including a 6-year-old child. Buildings of the city and regional maternity hospitals, as well as ten residential buildings, were damaged; ◾️ Lviv - 13 people were injured in an attack on the city. Several residential buildings in the city's center were damaged; ◾️ Vinnytsia - one person was killed and 11 were injured due to an attack on the region. The city center was hit, damaging a residential building; ◾️ Ternopil - an administrative building was hit; ◾️ Zhytomyr - A 12-year-old girl was injured, and a two-story residential building was damaged; ◾️ Zaporizhzhia - Russian overnight attack destroyed and damaged apartment buildings, private houses, and non-residential buildings; ◾️ Dnipro - 13 people were injured after a Russian drone hit a 14-storey residential building; ◾️ Poltava - 2 people were killed, and 12 were injured in a Russian attack on the city; ◾️ Chernihiv - 8 private houses were damaged.

The only thing worse than being completely decimated by the EU unfair trade deal today, was driving home listening to @andy_park on @abcnews saying that Australia got close to 35,000t of "tariff free" beef access. That is actually complete rubbish. 8 years ago we voluntarily gave up access to 35,000t of tariff free access to the EU so that the USA would be more friendly to them.
Today we got:
- Under 4000 t of new tariff free access
- Our existing 3300 t of access with the tariff removed
- 3180 t of new quota with a tariff (you know those bad things that Trump imposes)
There is some distant glimmer of this increasing to almost 14,000 tonnes of tariff free quota in 10 years time.
No doubt in the fine print, Australian farmers will give up more land to renewables, carbon abatement and fanciful deforestation definitions.
Great news for EU consumers, in 10 years time they will be able to purchase 1/10 of one burger paddy each, once a year, from Australian farmers.....
Today once again, the Labor party showed their absolute disdain for Australian farmers.
