The Railroad catches way too much flak. They’re literally the only faction that’s 100% about freeing people from literal slavery without any hidden agenda or power grab. People just hate them because Deacon’s annoying and Desdemona’s intense. Meanwhile the Institute is playing god and the Brotherhood is space-Nazis lite.

As far as factions go in Fallout 4 The Railroad gets so much hate! And honestly It’s not enough. Deserves more.

@NaniwaGusto @Fergus_TK Y’all act like each martial art can only have one rep. Two Muay Thai fighters can fight very differently. There’s multiple Mishimas, wrestlers, bears, ninjas, etc. - all of which play very differently from one another

@DanJust_ Yeah absolutely. Hell, im certainly feeling that atm. Its just frustrating seeing people turn their ire to a very expected inflationary effect, instead of the companies & countries that are keeping their wages low to begin with.

@TeeHallums It’s also interesting to see how it compares to the film industry, where no matter the budget of the film the ticket prices are the same as a micro budget indie film. Obviously comparing apples and oranges, just seems the price hikes in gaming are much more intense/anti-consumer

@DanJust_ Games are more expensive than ever to make. By orders of magnitude. There have been many counteractive forces to help against this, but ultimately when games are costing 10-40x to make, but still cost the same to purchase... that is invariably going to strain the industry
