BREAKING The Liberals have put a motion on notice in the House of Commons to cut off debate on Bill C-9 and force all amendments to a vote with no discussion. They are censoring debate on their censorship bill.

Given that Carney has stated China is "the biggest security threat" facing Canada before he also proclaimed China as his new "strategic partner" today at the TRAN committee meeting we tried to drill down to find out what security review will be done for made-in-China BC Ferries. Turns out the answer, so far at least, is none.

🚨BREAKING: The Liberals have adopted my amendments to rein in the sweeping “Powers of a King” clause in the Budget Implementation Act. This provision would have concentrated immense power in the hands of a few, without proper safeguards. I stood firm for transparency, accountability, and the rule of law — and today we’ve secured real protections: public consultation, parliamentary oversight, clear limits on ministerial authority, and full transparency for Canadians. Importantly, these changes still allow Canada to foster innovation and support responsible regulatory sandboxes — but now with proper democratic guardrails in place. Thank you to every Canadian who signed my petition, wrote to my office, and made their voice heard. Your engagement made a real difference. This is a meaningful step to protect fiscal integrity, democratic institutions, and responsible innovation in Canada. #cdnpoli

Today, I was pleased to table Bill C-260, the Care Not Coercion act. If passed, Bill C-260 would create safeguards to prevent the coercion of individuals who are not seeking Medical Assistance in Dying. This bill stands with people with disabilities, veterans, seniors, and all those who have faced, or are at risk of facing, pressure toward medically facilitated death. Bringing the brutal dictator and narco-terrorist Maduro to justice, ensuring he can no longer terrorize the people of Venezuela, and doing so without a single civilian casualty, is a miracle for which the entire world owes America a profound debt of gratitude. A joyous morning.
Secretary Marco Rubio@SecRubio

Maduro is NOT the President of Venezuela and his regime is NOT the legitimate government. Maduro is the head of the Cartel de Los Soles, a narco-terror organization which has taken possession of a country. And he is under indictment for pushing drugs into the United States.

While the Liberals wage an unnecessary war on religious freedom with Bill C-9 — religious communities continue to speak out against it. Rabbis representing the broad spectrum of Orthodox Jewry across the GTA, express profound alarm over Bill C-9. Conservatives made our nineteenth motion today to prioritize C-14. And for the nineteenth time, the Liberals blocked it. Nineteen opportunities to act. Nineteen Liberal refusals. At what point will this government stop standing in the way of safer communities?

Today I moved a motion to immediately prioritize urgent bail and sentencing reform to protect Canadians. The Liberals blocked and shut it down. They refuse to act, refuse to treat community safety as urgent, and choose delay while crime continues to rise. Conservatives are prepared to sit through the Christmas break—however long it takes—to get Bill C-14 passed. Canadians deserve a justice system that puts victims and public safety first. The Liberals don’t agree. We will keep fighting.

We continue to press for a full study on Drivers Inc. so victims can share their stories and Parliament can act on road safety. Liberals must stop blocking the committee and allow testimony to proceed. Canadians deserve better. #cdnpoli #YQG #driversinc

It wasn’t opposition members who filibustered in transport committee for two weeks and then cancelled meetings. But there’s a good chance Mr. Greaves is unaware of what’s going on in committee because his colleague is the one doing all the heavy lifting on the filibuster...

The wind isn't the only thing stirring things up — the Alberta–Ottawa MOU, transit, youth safety online, committees hard at work (well, trying to), and climate policy all hit the agenda this week. Learn more in your #WeeklyWrap. #yyj

The Carney Liberals are obstructing the work of the Transportation Committee. Enough is enough- Conservatives want to hear from victims and make recommendations to make our trucking industry and our highways safer.

The Liberals and the Bloc Quebecois are scheming to attack religious freedom and threaten to jail people who express religious beliefs or even quote scriptures the government objects to. I called out this assault on religious freedom today in the House of Commons.

If the Liberal-Bloc amendment is adopted and Bill C-9 is passed, people of faith could be imprisoned for up to two years for expressing deeply held religious convictions that the government finds offensive. Read and share my op-ed! nationalpost.com/opinion/andrew…

Now we know why the Liberals wanted to ram Bill C-9 through without scrutiny. They made a deal with the Bloc to prosecute people for quoting scripture. Conservatives will stop this assault on religious freedom. Will you stand with me? conservative.ca/cpc/protect-re…

LIBERALS GASLIGHT FLIGHT ATTENDANTS Flight attendants tried to strike over unpaid pre- and post-flight work. The Minister slammed them back to work with the iron fist of the law — still unpaid. Hours later, she posted a speech claiming “no one should work for free.” You can’t make this up. #unpaidworkwontfly @cupenat

I’ve never seen a committee not meeting when Parliament is sitting & there is business before the committee. Yet the Transportation Committee has now missed 2 meetings this week. Last meeting the Liberals were filibustering to prevent hearing from victims. Why aren’t we working?
