Entebbe Airport Project update: Work on 20,000 square meter terminal building, connecting to the existing terminal, is progressing well. On completion of the new terminal building in 2024, the terminal capacity will be enhanced from 2m passengers a year to at least 3.5 million.

Major works at Kisoro Aerodrome have been completed. A test run today was successful. There are pending works on the runway shoulders & paint marking renewals, among others. The works will be completed on June 15, 2024, & a NOTAM is to be issued soon - @UCAA_Spokesman

I spent the afternoon in Mbarara where I commissioned the WoodCross Tin smelting Refinery, the first of its kind in Uganda. We are continuing in the right direction towards tackling the problem of ababaagyi (squanderers) of African wealth, abashema (uninformed) and traitors. This is part of the NRM’s 5th point in the 10-point program; building a horizontally and vertically integrated economy, away from the inherited shame, betrayal, and economic hemorrhage of exporting raw materials and importing finished goods.
