Our be snacks at The Sunlaws Restaurant. A Morning on the Estate Starts with dippy egg and soldiers from our local hens, a walk through the fields where you encounter our roe deer wandering the grounds then up to the trout loch to watch the morning mist rise over the hills

Gary here… Can I share some lovely things please ? We had Michelin star chef @ChefVGGP come up and cook with us a few weeks back & on his night after service he very sincerely said to the whole team he would love to cook for them at his restaurant if they’re in London & it was obvious at the time he meant it. So far two separate couples from our team have gone & Victor has done just that. We are talking about young people (19- 21) who otherwise would not have the kinds of funds available to dine out in such establishments & I can’t tell you how lovely this is that Victor has done this. Full tasting menu & wines to match. Giving the White Horse team the chance to experience what it’s like to dine in the type of restaurants we do guest chefs with is exactly the type of inspiration young people need to enjoy the industry we’re in. Big thank you to Chef Victor & his teams we think you lot are amazing X❤️

Can we change their blinkered view point? A big ask, but it is within their power to address rates and reduce VAT, both of which could be lifesavers. We have to keep the pressure up. In the meantime let's all support our local hospitality scene with our custom as much as we can.

@JohnMasonMSP @banks_chef @scothospgroup Surely a targeted approach would be to work on changing the way bottom line profits are taxed while allowing more flexibility at the top line for the money to go in to the accounts? Or perhaps stopping the oil giants making record profits year on year?

@banks_chef @scothospgroup SOME is the key point. So we should aim to help hospitality businesses which are struggling. But we should not be giving money to businesses which are profitable. Need to target.

Good news in today's Scottish Budget by @ShonaRobison. New advanced rate of income tax of 45% for those earning over £75,000. So further £82 million being raised. Overall £1.5 billion increase in Income Tax receipts. While Westminster cuts taxes, @theSNP protects public services.

Recruitment update: trial, no-showed two weeks ago, claimed to have emailed to cancel, I had no record, reschedules for today, no-shows! It's like some sort of elaborate and not very funny practical joke.
