Just spoke to the BBC about the demand for ice rinks in the UK - piece out next week. The mainstream media's intrigue in the sport is getting less absurd each time they look at the sport - from the ridiculous FT article about why women follow ice hockey, then to the potential 'spike in interest' from Heated Rivalry, now finally true journalism about something that matters. Waiting lists at nearly all clubs. Many hours of travel just to train. 2million tickets sold annually to league/cup fixtures. Biggest indoor sport in the country (by a long way). The sport has grown quietly, well-past the current infrastructure available. This is not just a supply and demand issue that will 'go away'.

Why did it have access? If a junior engineer takes down prod, it's never the junior's fault. That's an access and SDLC issue

@steipete They need to change their model codes to gpt-x where x is thinking, chat, codex, pro. Then if they release a model update, many users on those streams will automatically get uplifted with little-to-no reconfiguration.

it’s a good model. the coding specific jump is more in line what we had in 5.0 to 5.1; but it’s now unified and smarter on everything else, writes better docs, is a better general purpose agent and is overall more pleasant to use.

This is one of my favorite things my OpenClaw agent @ozzyclawsborne does for me. Each day, he uses @NanoBanana to make an "On This Day" image that we use for a bit of trivia. He sends it to me in a dedicated channel on Discord. Here's the prompt to set it up: Create daily On This Day art for today's date. Steps: 1) Fetch Wikipedia 'On This Day' events for today 2) Select the single most impactful historical event 3) Generate one image depicting exactly 10 seconds before the event happened (using Gemini image generation) 4) Post to your chosen channel 5) Caption MUST contain only two lines: - \'Date: ' - 'Location: ' - No event name, no hints, no extra text

Security is one area you never want to skimp on, and credential security is something I'm more than happy to swallow a £9/yr increase on - especially in the context that it's the first for a decade. The app keeps getting better, and this is a no-brainer.

@TheRegister I have seen unit test frameworks that do exactly this and treat repos like CDNs. They constantly call the sites to pull the code, run tests, then delete the code again. Repeat for next commit run. It's a mess.

We’ve been seeing a massive increase in malicious usage of the Anitgravity backend that has tremendously degraded the quality of service for our users. We needed to find a path to quickly shut off access to these users that are not using the product as intended. We understand that a subset of these users were not aware that this was against our ToS and will get a path for them to come back on but we have limited capacity and want to be fair to our actual users.

@TheRegister *Most* of the awards are linked to actual deliverable results, rather than the price of the stock so I think it's generally a good thing - especially if you believe they're not achievable. Is the pay award obscene though? Yes, absolutely.
