@MarioNawfal Maintenance costs are actually higher than true trams, largely removing the advantages (this is more like a heavy weight guided bus).

🇨🇳 China is now running trams without rails. Just virtual guidance systems on normal roads. The vehicle can carry 500 passengers and reach speeds of 70 km/h. China is already testing the next version of urban transport. Meanwhile the U.S. is still arguing over whether trains should even exist. Hopefully Trump sees this and decides America should start building futuristic infrastructure again instead of just talking about it.

🇵🇭 Police in the Philippines rode a city bus through a dedicated lane, watched as cars and motorcycles illegally tailed it to skip traffic, then stepped off at the end and ticketed every single one. They didn't even stand a chance ☠️😂

Can anybody use Claude Cowork for more than 5 minutes without hitting a usage limit on the $17 tier? The moment you give it a document it seems to shoot itself in the foot. It made 3 copies of it and burnt the tokens on writing and reading them?... 🤷‍♀️

Doing business with German companies is so consistently horrific that I now actively avoid it unless there is no alternative. Getting a refund from Amex Germany took multiple phone calls, a fax, and a letter to their official complaint line. My partner is on week three of trying to cancel a domain with @uniteddomains . Tracked letter ignored. Fax line broken. Smooth interactions with German companies are the exception, not the norm. Most feel engineered to wear the customer down until they give up or pay more than they should. The strangest part is how reflexively Germans defend this when you point it out.

@BenjaminHouy Well, it works for Germans. People from other places are used to manual service by some Indians, which is simply not the case in Germany. It's all automated

@ChLawEWho @ChaosTV There are stupid and racist assholes wherever you go. Some places it’s more concentrated and some situations are more likely to bring it to light. Some will experience firsthand, some don’t. It’s just not as clear cut as people on x want it to be. Most issues are nuanced.

@ChaosTV Hm, Is it really that way? It seems like nitpicking for likes, I met a lot of germans working in a cruise line and I have been to frankfurt, and I am a Mexican with asian features(Great grand dad was from a few hours north west of Tianjin) and never faced racism.
