Tina Peters is guilty as sin and a disgrace to Colorado. She tried to undermine Colorado’s free and fair election system. When she was caught red-handed, she was prosecuted by a Republican district attorney and rightfully convicted by a jury of her peers. Reducing her sentence sends the wrong message to those seeking to undermine trust in our elections and it will do nothing to deter Donald Trump’s illegal attacks on Colorado. I strongly disagree with this decision.

You read a conviction not the case. She wasn’t allowed to present her evidence in trial. The conviction was based on one sided and tainted evidence (fruit of the poisonous tree). A jury convicted based on a tainted trial. You shouldn’t inject yourself in adult converstatons, cupcake!

Tina Peters was not a whistleblower exposing election fraud. Based on facts & sworn witness testimony a jury convicted her beyond ALL reasonable doubt for seven criminal acts for orchestrating an illegal breach of Mesa County’s voting systems in 2021. A Republican district attorney in Mesa County investigated the 2020 results & found no evidence of fraud or outside interference. Peters acknowledged in her clemency application that she “made mistakes & misled election officials.” Clemency reduces her time served but does not pardon, exonerate, or overturn the conviction. Like Trump, she remains a convicted felon.
