Early voting is a convenience process (no one is forcing you to use it) that PRECEEDS an election. If what preceeds an election, IS the election, then when ISN'T it an election?

So let’s say I cast my early vote for X candidate, and a few weeks later but before Election Day he/she proposes or votes on something that I wholly disagree with or says something offensive. I then have buyers remorse and regret my vote. That’s the premise of the argument and the decision. When early voting has stopped and that two day gap is irrelevant. Votes have already been cast

Voter registration is year round. Early voting stops before Election day. Is this period of time with no voting a part of the election, too?
