@Nickstro_ @USICOfficial Agree on not comparing, it is more from the point of view "I want to be a world class trader". I feel positive and energized to see that I am on good track, but still work needed and in progress, someday I will get the same results as you the top guys. Thank You Nick.

@DanielChiaYep @USICOfficial Yes this was for the end of June. However I wouldn't set a benchmark for your own progress based on these results. Thank you and goodluck!

Currently sitting in 5th place in the @USICOfficial USIC at 203.3% YTD. A lot of work to be done but I am very happy with how I have been taking on this competition and my trading as a whole. These last two months have been far from easy so if you are green on the year or even beating $SPY i'd consider that a win. Good luck to all fellow traders.

@RealSimpleAriel Literally said the same thing today. You beat me to it yesterday haha 🙌 Calling it “long term investing” doesn’t magically turn their poor market understanding and bad risk management into a strategy.
Anand@anandragn

More power to long-term investors. But many here are simply rebranding poor market understanding and a lack of risk-management skills as “long-term” No long term investor on X. There are good traders then there are poor traders. Make it make sense. Sorry, but not sorry.

"Yeah, but I'm holding for the next 2 years." One of the most common sentences uttered after turning a trade into an investment. Opening yourself up to a 40–50% loss in a single stocks isn't conviction. It's poor risk management. I've been seeing quite a bit of that on X over the last two weeks. You wanted flowers for being a "genius" on the way up. Now you want to remind everyone that the "thesis" hasn't changed. Just remember there is no prize for conviction.

For anyone wondering, I have a 37% win rate on my swing trades. I manage risk well, and I make money when markets trend. Thinking you need to be right all the time in a market this unpredictable is a fool's errand. @mirsblog constantly trying to call me out for being wrong only makes the point. If you're going to keep score on my bad calls, be prepared to do a lot of typing because I am wrong a lot. The difference is I cut my losses quickly, let my winners work, and never confuse being wrong with staying wrong.

@NickDrendel Nick, isn't it better as a weakness confirmation? Do we now apply an intraday pivot to the downside?

@ZaStocks It would be prudent to wait a few months to see the direction of the curve, after the effects of the renewed war are clear, maybe we trend higher again. Anyway as traders, we will just react.

People really still think the new Fed chair hand selected by Trump is going to come in hawkish and start an aggressive rate hiking cycle? After that data?

Not much interest in new action tmrw, but unfortunately may be forced to absolutely LOAD this $PENG. Tonight, I was combing through the earnings only to find the CEO's name is virtually CASH SHAKE. Was this earnings report literally speaking to me...? -Demand outpacing sales growth with growing backlog -Raised FY 26 outlook -Net Sales Growth from 12% to 22% -EPS from $2.15 to $2.60 Just as everyone is out on the AI trade. 🧐 Makes you think.....🤔

@Crowded_Mkt_Rpt I used to think this, and it is absolutely true, but once I figured this out, I stumbled with the other side of the coin, I wasn't able to let the market advance 20, 30, 50% in my favor. Still working on that, damn, patience is such an underrated ability.

I get the markets wrong. Sometimes I get them right, and I lose money anyway because I get stopped at just the wrong time. But you know what I never do? Have a market go 20, 30, 50% against me. Because I use risk management. Its what allows me to be wrong many times but still make money over time. Thats what trading is. Nothing more.

Important sidenote. Prior $STRC panics have marked major bottoms on $BTC ... Solvency risks are bigger than stock related fears. $MSTR is trading record volume here and the time bridge for the debt is being built up no matter how it is being done for now. $BTC is bigger than $MSTR alone and despite the bad management if no $BTC are sold this will end up benefiting BTC at the cost of $MSTR shareholders. This doesn't mean that $MSTR needs to crash to 0 either, it just means there is a confidence crisis that will likely more than anything reflect in the future inability to reach a 2-3+ MNAV imo. In the end if this works in favor of $BTC holders there will be no recognition for Saylor (good) and the cost will have to be paid. Furthermore the cost will be carried as a small percentage of the entire asset base. Meaning yes there was major mismanagement by Saylor on this, but it is also only one part of the book. It becomes more of an issue if we reached lower $BTC, especially $26.2k where the debt would exceed the assets. That said even then the real burden would be about $1.68B / 12 = ~$140M/month, however the MNAV linked to $MSTR should this happen would probably be so low that funding it even at that amount would become an issue.

$MSTR What are we doing here? Reserves are up. BTC holdings are up. But how was this funded, and what is the actual trade-off being made underneath the surface? Strategy increased its USD Reserve by $300 million to $1.4 billion and also acquired another 520 BTC for $35 million, taking its BTC Reserve to 847,363 BTC. If that USD Reserve is being replenished while MSTR trades at roughly 0.70 to 0.75 mNAV, there is a huge cost burden that forms. Raising common equity via the ATM below NAV is not neutral. It is economically similar to selling BTC exposure at a discount. At 0.75 mNAV, every $1 raised gives away roughly $1.33 of BTC NAV claim. $1 raised / 0.75 = $1.33 of BTC NAV claim given away At 0.70 mNAV, every $1 raised gives away roughly $1.43 of BTC NAV claim. $1 raised / 0.70 = $1.43 of BTC NAV claim given away So the question is no longer just whether Strategy bought more BTC. The question, well is it even a question, is whether common shareholders are indirectly funding the $STRC dividend and USD Reserve by giving up BTC exposure at 70 to 75 cents on the dollar. That matters because STRC’s 10% dividend is not really a 10% cost if it is funded through common dilution below NAV. At 0.75 mNAV, it becomes a 13.3% BTC-equivalent annual cost to common holders. 10% / 0.75 = 13.3% At 0.70 mNAV, it becomes a 14.3% BTC-equivalent annual cost to common holders. 10% / 0.70 = 14.3% Now combining what we can deduct from the above, the usual $BTC cycle, I will use a 5y period here equal to the rest of this cycle and the next halving cycle to make the point. How much does $MSTR need to rise in order to make these bets viable? At 0.75 mNAV: (1 / 0.75) × (1 + 10% × 5) - 1 = 100.0% total return required That is roughly 14.9% annualized over 5 years. At 0.70 mNAV: (1 / 0.70) × (1 + 10% × 5) - 1 = 114.3% total return required That is roughly 16.5% annualized over 5 years. Is it possible? Sure... But a big part of the premium and high MNAV $MSTR got in the past was due to its management of the balance sheet, it simply didn't have credit risk, it was just an outright bet on $BTC. This means the real bet is not simply “BTC goes up.” The real bet is that BTC appreciates fast enough to overcome the STRC dividend burden, the discounted equity issuance, and the dilution caused by raising capital below NAV. At today’s mNAV levels, BTC likely needs to compound at roughly 14.9% to 16.5% annually over five years just to make this economically rational versus selling BTC directly. So the headline says reserves are up and BTC is up. But the real question is: At what effective discount is BTC exposure being sacrificed to keep the capital structure alive?
Michael Saylor@saylor

Strategy has increased its USD Reserve by $300 million to $1.4 billion and plans to continue replenishing it to support the credit quality of its Digital Credit securities. We also acquired 520 BTC for $35 million, increasing our $BTC Reserve to ₿847,363. $MSTR $STRC strategy.com/press/strategy…

@JLawStock This is no brainer, who would value accent over the quality content. Even more so when YouTube has automatic subtitles, the ones who wants to suceed find their way. I really learned a lot and appreciate your content, too bad I don't speak chinese.

We have been trying hard to produce more videos for our YouTube global channel. (YT @ jlawstock2) One reason we paused was because we received quite a few comments about the speaker’s accent. To be honest, our team does not have a native English speaker. But to me, teaching ability matters far more than having a perfect native accent. Many people can speak fluent English, but not everyone can teach well — and even fewer truly understand my trading philosophy and methodology. So far, Oasis is the coach I trust the most in terms of both teaching ability and understanding my system. She is also much more relatable than using AI voiceover. But I’m genuinely curious: does the accent really matter that much to you, or are those comments just from a small minority?🤔 For our global channel, how much does the speaker’s accent matter to you if the content is clear and valuable?
