A woman whose older brother was killed in Venezuela breaks down in tears after President Trump captured dictator Maduro. “Thank you, sir. We’ve been here eight years because they killed our older brother, they kidnapped my brothers.”

@micah_erfan Democracy? You mean like when the Democratic Party skipped the primary and appointed Kamala as the presidential candidate?

@inxpensveinvest @StockMKTNewz I think he said “up to $1,100 starting with iPhone 13 Pro” so they will accept trade in for 13 Pro and newer, but top dollar goes to the newest phones. However, it’s showing only $540 trade in for my iPhone 16 Pro. Not really adding up either way.

iOS 26 beta 3 completely nerfs Liquid Glass. It looks so much cheaper now and feels like Apple is backtracking on their original vision.

BREAKING: Trump is reportedly moving to eliminate the Department of Education, just like Project 2025 mapped out. We told you. We screamed it. But some of y’all were too busy swallowing propaganda to read the fine print. CONGRATS: Now you kids will be even more ignorant than you are.

NEWS: A $10B program to buy EVs for the U.S. Postal Service is far behind schedule, with defense contractor Oshkosh not disclosing significant manufacturing difficulties for more than a year. The USPS has received only 93 trucks - far fewer than the 3,000 expected by now. Trump's transition team is considering canceling the contract to buy over 60,000 more of these all-electric USPS vehicles.

@csbaker @MikeCosper While Vance could’ve answered more clearly, I believe most Americans are more focused on key issues like the economy and border security. Many can feel the tangible difference between Trump’s administration and what we’re experiencing now under Harris.

@DanielFoster07 @MikeCosper And just for clarity: Walz isn’t the reason election denial is an issue in 2024. Donald Trump is the reason election denial is an issue. Every time Donald Trump says he won the election, he makes election denial an issue.

Vance won this one easily. He disarmed Walz at the top of the night by being gentlemanly and respectful — ie a pre-Trump era conservative who cares about manners, and nothing like the MAGAbro he played on podcasts for the last few years. Walz had comically bad moments, no good answer on his Hong Kong lie, and false answers on late term abortion. But the moderators come out looking worst. They couldn’t resist a fact check on Vance, and he took over the event to correct them. Their scripted lines about “many topics to cover” sounded fine when they first said them and silly the 9th. And they failed to raise some of the issues that really distinguish these two. Nothing on Ukraine? One question on Israel? 8 mins on climate change? Nothing on 2020 riots?

@csbaker @MikeCosper Ah, yes. Because that’s what America tuned in for. Forget inflation, secure borders, or the fact we are on the brink of WW3. Tell us how you feel about the 2020 election. 🙂

@ElieNYC Speaking of “democracy” how many votes did Kamala receive in the primary? I’m curious

Can I just step back for a second and say that it is RIDICULOUS that we live in a "democracy" where Kamala Harris is going to clearly, overwhelmingly, win the popular vote... and yet that doesn't matter in the slightest and everybody just blithely accepts that it doesn't matter.
