The term "comeback" is evidence that you have acquiesced to a lie. Trump was never not the choice of the clear-eyed American people, and we have always been the silent majority. He didn't go anywhere. We had 4 years stolen from us for lack of political will to stop it.

@ChiFredericks @teslaownersSV @elonmusk As much as it is expedient for those who are not at the reins of political power to convince everyone otherwise, the U.S. are the cooler heads. Are there cooler heads? Sure, probably, but none who are also holding all of the cards (aware of all variables).

Are we sure we can afford not to do so? Look around at the amount of people that seem to be almost pushing for the US to use their nuclear weapons. Weapons that if the US uses are the option that kill the planet. Because realistically for the US to use them in war, means that things have gotten so bad it is a murder-suicide of a global level. Hopefully it will never come to that, but no one can guarantee that.

Elon Musk
Elon Musk@elonmusk·
Mostly true. What matters is securing the long-term future of consciousness, both on Earth and other heavenly bodies. We cannot just focus on Earth, because there are irreducible external (eg massive meteor) and internal (eg global nuclear war) cataclysmic risks. The Moon is faster to make self-growing, but is more susceptible to problems on Earth. Mars will take longer to make self-growing, because it is so hard to reach, but is more secure from Earth disasters for that same reason. Both the Moon and Mars should have self-growing civilizations. Making this happen is the prime directive of SpaceX.
Jaynit@jaynitx

Former SpaceX astronaut Garrett Reisman reveals the single prism Elon Musk runs every major decision through "He measures pretty much every major decision by whether or not it brings the day when we have a self-sustainable colony on Mars sooner or later" "That's the prism by which he makes every single decision he makes" "He's got an idea and he'll keep pushing, and he gives us aggressive timelines that we have to work to" "We work really hard to try to meet them. It's hard when you're doing stuff that's this complicated to predict exactly how long it's going to take" "We end up falling a little bit behind, but we do our best"

I have no problem with people who don’t drink, but people who are arrogant about it/judgmental toward people who do are insufferable. Like we get it man, you’re flawlessly healthy, you’re going to feel amazing for 80-90 years and die feeling like a piece of kale. You’re amazing. One day we’ll “get it” like you.

@collin_ruth89 It should be mentioned that a hybrid could get you killed trying to pull out in traffic. They give power when they want and not before. Other than that they're great. EV is much safer.

I don’t understand why every vehicle isn’t a hybrid. Why not use regenerative braking to charge a battery in every car? Huge increase in gas mileage. Why do they still make non-hybrids?

@atensnut Fill the 5 gal, fill the 3 gal from the 5 gal, leaving 2 gal in the 5. Empty the 3, our the 2 into the 3, fill the 5 again, and pour into the 3 until it's full. You now have 4 in the 5.

@TheRhetorRick This is the problem I have with story. What pragmatic purpose did that serve? The nature of sin is actually embedded in the very notion of humanity. So, it does not matter how many times you flood the earth, if that sinful nature is still there, it is pointless!

The suggestion that you should partner with someone but only give a fraction of your time and energy to the partnership while primarily looking out for number 1 doesn't work in business or in marriage. You overlook that fact because you have an idealogical axe to grind. You're wrong. It's a tortured, forced analogy bearing witness to a lie.

@realMaalouf Was that microwave provided by the employer or a fellow employee? Is there another microwave? How many Muslim employees are at the workplace? This could be perfectly reasonable, or it could be outrageous.

@realMaalouf Have it thrown out. It's occupying shared space and enforcing a religious requirement for use. Private property or not it doesn't belong there unless everyone involved is inclined to overlook that fact.

I'm sorry for your loss. Don't lose your faith to sorrow. God is merciful. We all have a chance. It is appointed for a man once to die, then the judgement. You think there's a soft landing for everyone because God loves us, or because we love someone? We may all love decent enough people who are going to reject God and suffer eternal damnation for it. A dear friend of mine died in his sins. Great guy. Never accepted Jesus to my knowledge. It haunts me. I can't change it. Don't soften the truth for your mother. Mourn her. Ask God to heal your heart. Don't court delusion. If you don't deal with this it will rob you of your savor. We may meet people in heaven that we didn't expect to be there. God's heart is what Jesus did for the criminal on the cross, but if it surprises us it will be because of what we don't know about their hearts, not because of wiggle room in the clear word of God.

Rabbi Brian Samuel
Rabbi Brian Samuel@rabbriansamuel·
My mom passed away today. 💔 I'm going to say something that will spark rebuke. I know what the Bible says about salvation. I stand by that and I will not waver from it. But I also know that God is merciful. And He is loving. And He is good. And my soul rests in that. I am not saying there is more than one way to eternal life. I'm saying that God is fierce and He is a fighter, and He will tear apart everything to reach one of His lost daughters. I'm not diverging from sound biblical doctrine. I know what it takes to be saved. But God will tear apart our pretty little doctrines to rescue a single soul. 2 Samuel 14:14: Yet God does not take away life but rather, He devises plans so that a banished person may not remain an outcast from Him. Oh, and when the time comes for me to enter into my eternal heavenly home, and she's not there? Guess what? I will go back and get her. Because my Lord Yeshua says that the gates of hell will not prevail. And gates swing both ways. So I will break down the gates of hell and get her out if I have to. Because I'm not entering into glory without my mother. So go ahead and share this and say that poor Rabbi Brian is preaching dangerous wishful thinking rather than biblical doctrine on heaven and hell. My hope is in a God who is merciful beyond our comprehension. And beyond our doctrine. See you in paradise, mom. I love you.

@DanielJWilliam4 @Ashleyn0911 @sola_chad Never getting into a car would correlate to never getting married. Wearing a seat belt would correlate to have a career in your marriage. Circumstances change in marriages and depending on a man to provide for you is akin to driving without taking reasonable protections.
