Even those who jeered at us in 2024 as agents of imperialists during the Parliament Exhibition are now out analysing and condemning her corruption! It is not that they’ve finally established the truth, it is because it is now convenient.

@SpireJim An elite of your caliber would know that the actual stealing is with executive not other branches. A parliament that can not even alter a single digit allocated u want to suggest that it has a role. Be more analytical, and focus the country to the actual problem

With all the money stolen and spent extravagantly without any controls in institutions such as Parliament, why should government continue borrowing money in the name of citizens - money that will take generations to pay!!!

As the 11th Parliament comes to an end this week, @AgoraCFR brings to you a recap of the controversies, the accountability and legal issues it has been characterized by. We call upon you to share your views and information about your best and worst MPs, the unforgettable scandals and controversies, the highs and lows, among others. After the irregular, dubious allocation and use of the over UGX 17 billion that we exposed in the first #UgandaParliamentExhibition, not only was there no accountability but members of staff of Parliament have continued to receive billions as we will show in the #UgandaParliamentExhibitionII

So... The President proposes his beautiful Bill. Somehow, this “beautiful Bill” is hijacked by a Cabinet that sits every Monday at his official residence. And these Cabinet meetings are chaired by the President, or his delegate. Anyway… Clauses Not one, not two, not three, not four, not five... are inserted. The Attorney General, a member of Cabinet, directly appointed by the President, and the government’s designated legal adviser, somehow sees all this. And advises that the Bill be sent to the Ministry of Finance, for which the President is the official minister, to obtain the mandatory Certificate of Financial Implications. The Ministry of Finance duly issues the Certificate of Financial Implications. And the Bill, now laden with all the smuggled-in clauses, is tabled by the Minister of State for Internal Affairs -another direct appointee and member of Cabinet. It is tabled in a Parliament whose Speaker swears to follow and fall in the name of the President, His Son, and the Daughters. Your Cabinet is present. Your Attorney General is present. For the next two weeks, your Attorney General vehemently defends the Bill on the floor and across your government’s media. Your latest big blue fish recruit, a law professor, almost without prompting, steps in to defend the Bill nonetheless. Your toad-eaters, who, also swear by the Father, if not the Son, besmirch anyone opposed to the Bill, branding them vent merchants and foreign agents. Conductor? Maaso awo ku Mulago stage

I want to remind you guys that you will never know what’s going on in President Kyagulanyi Ssentamu’s head!! 😂 He’s the wisest person that I have ever met. He can think about solutions to any crazy problem on the fly! A smart person will just sit back and just trust him.

Watching Mr Frederick Mpanga doing his thing in court I am reminded of what our mother used to tell us: “Whenever you pray, don’t forget to pray for wisdom”. Listening to a fine brain, you just find yourself smiling alone! Unfortunately, fine brains increasingly have less space in the country, as mediocrity born of corruption has become a norm.

One of the witnesses for the state in the ongoing case against @NUP_Ug spokesman Waiswa Mufumbiro is Nyanzi, @HEBobiwine's big bro. Also, Waiswa's wife died recently and he couldn't attend the burial because he is in incarceration for NUP related activities. Struggle?

Dear our lovely President @KagutaMuseveni, I sincerely apologize to you and the entire @NRMOnline. For a long time, I was blinded and misled by NUP hooligans into criticizing the NRM government, which is clearly the best government we have ever had. But I thank God my eyes are now open and I have finally seen the light. Congratulations to me. Your Excellency, I would like to thank you for your sacrifice. Leading a whole country on a modest salary of just UGX 3 million is something rarely seen anywhere in the world. This is true patriotism. I also appreciate your personal generosity, using your own farm income to build roads, hospitals, and schools. Honestly, you are not even leading, you are just helping us by being our President. And to those complaining about the UGX 100 million given to MPs, please let’s be serious. That money is clearly not taxpayers’ money, it is from Mzee’s farm. Ugandans are just too lazy to even raise taxes for their own development, yet you carry the burden alone. It is even on record that NUP hooligans have been abducting soldiers, beating and torturing them from their Magere office but because of your parental heart, you have chosen to overlook it. Such patience, such restraint, where else on earth can we find a President like you? I continue to pray that our mighty Parliament passes all the bills placed before it because everything they pass is always for our own good. No questions, no doubts. I also wish to inform the authorities that all buildings in Kampala and other towns without proper plans and permits, kiosks, containers, those on roads or even deep in villages clearly belong to dangerous elements of NUP and should be demolished without hesitation. I fully support the ongoing development efforts because real development means demolishing everything in the name of order. That is how serious countries grow. You cannot develop a nation while structures are still standing. You clear first, then development follows. And of course, we cannot develop this country with hooligans around. Order must come before anything else. In fact, under your leadership, everything is working perfectly. The economy is strong, the youth are fully employed and the country is safe. In this spirit, I humbly request that you continue leading this country until you are personally tired because in your hands, Uganda is in very safe care. Thank you, Mzee. 🙏 Cc: @BalaamBarugahar

@CentenaryBank @Winnie_Byanyima So, let me understand this. The lady is your client and then you take such a step on her account, then come here and boldly state that the regulator is one to communicate and not you?? Really!!! Is that how you treat us??? Wat a bogus bank!

Thank you for the solidarity @Winnie_Byanyima. More than the shock at the unnecessary levels this regime is determined to go to, I was so disappointed in @CentenaryBank. At the very least they owed me a notification. I had traveled and left the bank card behind to be used to buy my children food. As soon as I had left I was being told the card says there’s no money. I had to run to family and friends for my children not to starve in my absence!

These dictators are determined to squeeze us left, right and center.. and every other entity, government and private, is enabling them. So after freezing @AgoraCFR’s accounts, they came for mine. My bank @CentenaryBank did as they ordered without caring to find out whether there is any basis and didn’t even have the decency to at least inform me!!
