@DanielWyner @pracconnect @Xero @XeroAPI No disrespect to Andrew, but LodgeiT is a small player... I feel for the XeroAPI team & the ecosystem evangelists... is it an open platform or not? Imagine being a waddle competitor? Or in your case, if Xero build a decent payroll & shut off API to vendors like yourselves?

Disappointing to learn from clients that they have received notification that API access to the popular tax solution LodgeiT will be restricted as of Monday by Xero - see attached. No doubt we will hear more about this - it is surprising in my eyes to sa…lnkd.in/gmXRmuQ

@mattpaff @pracconnect @Xero @XeroAPI Makes business sense, Intuit are a threat, Xero is trying to make it harder for clients to move off their solution for LodgeIT & in turn QBO. Xero want & need the Data in their platform, data is the new currency and I think it’s hard for anyone to say they wouldn’t do they same.

@pracconnect Stinks Al! Sadly @xero is an open platform until they don't want to be! LodgeiT is a small company - why do they feel threatened? 'cause Intuit like them? Why is TSheets still allowed API access?? No consistency and arbitrary BS around "open"! Disappointed @XeroAPI
