This guy is calling a hospital on behalf of a new mom who was charged $1,847,392 because her baby was premature and needed to stay alive long enough to come home. The itemized charges are dystopian. $37,464 for heel sticks on a premature infant, $58 every time a mother held her own baby skin-to-skin in the NICU, $312 for discharge teaching on how to sponge bathe a preemie and $27,590 for phototherapy lights. That’s before even getting into the NICU bed charges. Our medical system is one of the most corrupt, exploitative and evil rackets in the world.

So not everyone comes out with the same amount in the end, based on what is invested after the seed amount.

THIS is a shocking story out of Texas! 😳 A woman gave birth to premature twins, so of course the babies were in the NICU being closely monitored. Without informing the parents, surgery was performed on one of babies and the baby died…to make the pain of that loss even worse, the parent found out AT the funeral home that the babies organs had been harvested without their consent. 😠 Every person involved in this debacle should be relieved of their license to practice medicine and criminal charges should be applied. What say you?! 🤨

This woman is clearly in full active labor - screaming, shaking, hunched over, barely able to speak - and the desk nurse keeps calmly asking her intake questions like it’s a routine check-in. She was sitting in the waiting area for over 30 minutes before this. Her baby was born 12 minutes later. No triage. No urgency. No instinct to help a woman about to deliver a baby on the floor. At what point should a hospital step in and take someone straight to a room?
