@ALifeAfterTech @RationalMale @PeterSweden7 They would be led by women that would also be forced into the armed forces. And they would rapidly change the entire structure of the organisation, just like everywhere else.

@DannJolly @RationalMale @PeterSweden7 I'm not convinced you need a war. Women by and large hate manual labor and certainly don't want men telling them what to do. Hold them to the standards of men and this that do enter the force will learn GI Jane was a work of fiction.

It's not climate change. The falling birth rates is actually the biggest problem that humanity faces right now. How do we solve this and encourage people to have more children? Give me your best ideas 👇

@ALifeAfterTech @RationalMale @PeterSweden7 Giving them extra benefits for having children has never increased the child birth rate despite being tried by many countries. They have to be kept out of higher education, period.

@RationalMale @PeterSweden7 I might agree if you said childless women need to be actively disadvantaged. Or better yet just actively advantage child birth and rearing for men and women. I get where you are coming from but you aren't putting that genie back in the bottle.

@TheBillyProcida The margins are already only a couple of percent, so they wouldn't be making 20% less. Instead of 1-2% profit, they would be making a 18-19% loss.

@DannJolly @Wolf_VictorMavi @shinjukutheif1 You can apply that theory to any car/engine manufacturer. It is not exclusive to European brands. Even Japanese manufacturers - such as Mazda rotary engines, various Toyota engines in the 90’s-00’s, and a whole list of US engines across the years.

@DeanAbbott The premise is nonsensical. Can you honestly claim you feel lust toward every woman you see? Every woman you spend time with, you want sex with ALL of them? I certainly don’t feel that way. Sounds exhausting.

Genuine question for women who have close male "platonic" friends: How do you deal with the knowledge that he probably finds you attractive and would, under the right conditions, happily let the relationships become sexual? Do you just repress this knowledge? Secretly revel in it? Pretend he's asexual? What?

@ohnomichio it assumes there is only one Australian archetype as opposed to a population that has diverse interests, mindsets and behaviours, even if they were all white!

@DannJolly @Wolf_VictorMavi @shinjukutheif1 I disagree on your time period. My car has the BMW B58 engine, which is probably one of the most reliable engines made in the last 10 years. Similarly, the VW 2.0 TDI/TSI is very reliable. Unfortunately, when people think of European cars, they think of Peugeots, FIAT’s etc.

@SpikeDEth @Wolf_VictorMavi @shinjukutheif1 Lane control is fucked. Auto braking probably has its place for people with horrible habits, I'll rate this one as fair. Bluetooth has been common for about 25 years but I'd argue aux is better. New lights are horrible. Everyone hates them except the driver.

While it is true that there are a handful of very good European vehicles mostly produced in the 85 to 2005 period, it is also true that an extremely large number of people are attracted to absolute heaps of s*** specifically designed to barely Outlast their warranty. Not true for the vast majority of Japanese vehicles, for example

It's becoming a consensus among both the men & women I speak to that women are about to experience their own version of the cultural shaming men went through under the woke era Everyone agrees the behavior has gotten too feral, there's too much entitlement. People are over it

Hilary Duff revealed that she didn’t want Matt at first because he was “too nice” and she wanted something “chaotic” even after just experiencing a divorce “He was too nice, I was not ready to accept all of that, I needed chaos first “

@shinjukutheif1 I bought a 2.5 year old Qashqai for 18k. Always leased before, but thought I was silly. 4 months into owning it, an airbag warning light came on. Nissan tried for 6 months to fix it and then wrote it off as it could not be fixed. Had it been a slightly older I'd have been liable.

@Ed_Chester @shinjukutheif1 I can’t lie this is a gross underestimate. I have a 2011 plate car right now, which I’ve had for 7 years which is well maintained and has low mileage, however because of its age things are starting to go on it now. Timing chain alone will cost a couple of grand

@Ed_Chester @shinjukutheif1 Depends on the 15 year old car. I have used some that didnt need any major repairs and as you said overall cheaper. But some others could easily have problems costing big. Its not easy to quantify the peace of mind you get with a new(er) car knowing it is unlikely to have issues
