While bulls will dismiss it and say that $TSLA is not just a car company, the business practitioners will say yes, but the future of TSLA involves selling unsupervised autonomy and humanoid robots. Without marketing muscle TSLA will not be able to compete with $GOOGL, $AMZN, $BIDU and other tech-savvy firms who’ve mastered the skills of educating broad swaths of consumers about the benefits of their AI-driven products rather than their engineering features. Clearly $TSLA needs broad marketing and comms skills to differentiate their products in what is already a crowded space for autonomous ride hailing and will become crowded in personal robots when a dozen manufacturers have solved for unsupervised autonomy, and are building personal robots that can make consumers breakfast, tend to their lawns, go to the grocery store, feed their pets, and free up their time. Without great advertising, $AAPL iPhones would be no more successful than Samsung phones. Relying on word-of-mouth advertising from an army of unknown cheerleaders on X and YouTube has never been a great strategy for selling consumer products to the masses.

@FracSlap FSD 14 got so much better on braking earlier and smoother on freeways. But yes, lane change has become an issue for me as well. It hesitates then fails so many attempts. I’m sure they are working on the issue. Today, it failed 4, 5 times in single attempt and made me look stupid

Tesla FSD 14 has been absolute trash for me. Car hesitates switching into wide open lanes and just bounces along the lines. At this point I'd rather have the last version, I loved FSD and hating it now.

We received the latest version of Tesla's self-driving software, 14.1.4. On our first day of testing, Tesla's defective software blew through a 15mph school zone at 31mph, more than double the speed limit when kids are present. Even in so-called "Sloth" mode FSD drove 10mph over the school zone speed limit! FSD should be banned from public roads immediately.

@elonmusk Expansion is good but it’s only a horse with 3 legs if FSD is not fully autonomous.

Tesla autonomous driving might spread faster than any technology ever. The hardware foundations have been laid for such a long time that a software update enables self-driving for millions of pre-existing cars in a short period of time.

I know many are bulled up about $TSLA going into 3Q earnings and the annual meeting, but I’m still not certain Elon will answer the important question about when the safety monitor will come out of robotaxis to make them truly unsupervised autonomy on par with Waymo, Zoox, and Baidu in China. Until that happens, TSLA is still supervised autonomy and shouldn’t trade at a 177x P/E on 2026 EPS. Meanwhile, the disconnect between TSLA earnings revisions and TSLA stock price continues.

There is zero actual benefit to electronic doors, prove me wrong. The aerodynamic improvement isn’t enough to risk life. Manual door handles worked for 150 years, and in 2025 we have chosen style over safety. We have made cars less safe. .
