@DanticsOfficial One of the things I don't want the next Mass Effect to have from Andromeda is the ability to literally be everything and change everything at any time. I prefer to be locked in and to do more playthroughs for the other classes.

I miss when RPGs made you commit to a class. In Mass Effect your choice actually mattered. It shaped your identity, your strengths and your weaknesses. "Who are you?" instead of "Why not Zoidberg be everything". Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I think meaningful restrictions make RPGs more interesting, deeper in choice, and made each playthrough feel unique. It's why class choices still are discussed today.

@MiamiCapitalist Having a little play before locking in a class is fine, but even if you don't get to, you can always restart or play around. Uncertainty is part of it.

@DanticsOfficial I only disagree in that I've started games not understanding what the decisions really meant and then got stuck with them. I'd like a chance early/mid-game to change it. Otherwise, yeah I agree with you.

@aikens_lisa Exactly. Gameplay restrictions also lean into role playing. Times where the class came up, like being an engineer in the Omega dlc, really felt impactful too

@DanticsOfficial It's part of Shepard's backstory. We all have our favorite class, with strong opinions on bonus powers and why certain powers were dropped/changed. It's part of why this game has such a strong fan base. When a game can make an element part of the myth, it becomes timeless.

@ElSarampionN7 Exactly. I played through the trilogy just to try all the different classes. After one playthrough of andromeda I felt I had tried it all.

@DanticsOfficial This also encourages multiple playthroughs, to experience combat as a different class. For example, Vanguards and Infiltrators have two VERY different mindsets (CQC vs long-range). Being able to do both in the same game gives you less reason to replay it.

@littleking2022 100%. You need some consequence in choice gameplay wise too. Letting everyone be and try everything not only lowers the value, it makes it so none of the choices can be impactful because they need to be balanced against the fact you can pick anything to compliment it

@DanticsOfficial Fuck yeah it does, I remember arguments about dwarfs using magic in DA or whether warriors should be able to use rogue skills & some didnt see the issue of homogenezation that would make those things less interesting.

In Mass Effect 3, the Reapers destroy an Australian city from orbit. They knew better than to fight them on the ground. They realised Aussies had spent generations evolving to survive far worse.. Best to not risk it.

@DanticsOfficial They were really afraid of the Emus and the Bunnies after learning that the Aussies lost to both.

Update, asked for a real person and they accidently removed the violation only to put it back on... It really is that easy for them to remove.

@TikTokSupport my TikTok account has been restricted incorrectly and for over half a year now I have been appealing every day to radio silence. I have provided proof beyond a doubt that the account is legitimate. The last time I submitted a ticket it got closed by an AI bot suggesting that the feature was expected behavior, like it didn't understand the problem at all. That in it's self is a dubious malpractice. Please help me resolve this as the next step is to seek legal aid and contact the ACCC and I want to avoid that. @danticsofficial" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">tiktok.com/@danticsoffici

@kalaelizabeth @TikTokSupport Yeah it's beyond frustrating! Sorry to hear it happened to you as well. Same flag? Someone makes a false claim and you lose your account with no chance of getting it back. If I don't hear anything soon I will be taking it to our consumer regulator.

She promises the MASSIVE corruption which has led to $200 billion dollar debt, far and away, biggest of any state, while still being, far and away, the highest taxed state in Australia, will stop. Let’s start by looking at every single Govt funded building site in Victoria. And let’s do it properly, from the first hand stories I’m hearing, 15 billion doesn’t scratch the surface. Every honest Victorian will see an improvement of living standards if this is done. It’s a monumental disgrace, and those involved know exactly what I’m talking about.

Breaking news 👏👏👏 Dave Hughes has been a vocal critic of Labor but the life long Labor man has never stated his voting intention for the upcoming Victorian election. Hughesy has just announced on Melbourne radio that he is supporting Jess Wilson. Bravo Hughesy you are a smart man. #FreshStartVictoria #YesJess
