Yes! This by @j_amesmarriott is pretty much spot on. I’d suggest, however, it’s not that that we need to lean into reactionary politics but rather lean into the strangeness of Christianity, its historically distinctive voice. The whole thing about making Christianity accessible is a dead end. We don’t need easy listening Christianity, chummy familiar Classic FM Christianity. We need the full throated mysticism and confidence of the Catholic tradition. The word made strange once again.












Labour MP Stephen Timms shamefully supports forcing carers to repay debts that aren't their fault, claiming "to suggest that writing them all off is going to solve the problem – it won’t". It'll solve the problem for those carers, Stephen. I'm with Dalia.
