Why would a government change the law to hide their records – unless they had something to hide? Doug Ford just did that. He rewrote Freedom of Information laws to bury his phone records and 40 years of government documents. As Premier, I will undo this. But right now, I need those records preserved. Especially all the ones related to the ongoing criminal investigation into the Greenbelt Scandal.

I have to say, Mark Carney's address to Canadians is unbecoming, despicable fear mongering, and full of lies. It is pure anti-America propaganda to stoke more TDS and bs for the uninformed to cover up for the fact that over the past year he has failed to deliver all but record deficits and MOUs. Let's remember, Mark Carney: > went to school in the US > his kid/s went/go to school and live in the US > his wife lives in the US > moved Brookfield's HQ to the US > majority of his investments are in the US The US is good for him and his family but not for your's. The Prime Minister’s video is another illusion. He says he wants a permanent rupture with our biggest customer while he keeps 90% of his personal investments in the U.S. He has doubled the deficit, negotiated no new free trade deals with any other country, approved no pipelines, and given Canada the worst food inflation, the worst household debt, the worst housing costs, and the only shrinking economy in the G7. Fear is not a plan. We must reverse Liberal taxes, deficits, and anti-resource laws so we can be affordable, safe, and strong at home.

Realistically, 1-2 high-impact binding trade deals per year is a strong pace for Canada. Major negotiations (tariff cuts, market access, ratification) typically take 2-4 years due to complexity, politics, and partner alignment. Focus on quality with key markets like Indo-Pacific or Europe boosts competitiveness more than sheer volume—each solid deal can lift GDP growth by 0.5-1% via exports and investment.
