“We continue to fight against Hezbollah with great intensity. Yesterday, we entered into a ceasefire in Iran, the IDF’s achievements in the war against Iran are unprecedented and historic. Iran before this war is not the same Iran; it is far weaker. We are prepared to resume fighting with great determination if required at any given moment”
— IDF Chief of the General Staff LTG Eyal Zamir during a situational assessment on the outskirts of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon.

If you are guided by the law then the referendum should be done and the law says that, all senior lawyers, not zvidhakwa zvenyu, have said referendum needed.

As ZANU PF, we are a law-abiding party guided by principles of discipline, accountability, and respect for the rule of law. No individual is above these values. In line with this, the party has made it clear that Central Committee member Luckmore Tinashe Gapa could face internal disciplinary action if allegations that he snatched a mobile phone from lawyer Doug Coltart are proven in court. This demonstrates our firm commitment to justice and due process. Allegations must be tested in the courts, and appropriate action will follow based on the outcome. @CdeKnoxChivero @ChinamasaPA @edmnangagwa @GrainfulTrust @noto2030 @oczmk @daddyhope @DougColtart @DavidColtart

“Stability cannot come at the expense of democracy…”
The body mandated by the Constitution to protect human rights says Govt’s plan to amend the law and extend presidential terms weakens democracy — and should go to a referendum

I have just finished reading the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission’s analysis of Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3, and I must say it reads like opposition propaganda, not objective legal assessment. The analysis repeatedly cites foreign NGOs and international instruments as if Zimbabwe’s own Constitution were not enough, revealing a troubling deference to external agendas over our national sovereignty.
This Bill strengthens our democracy by reducing disruptive election cycles, consolidating voter registration under the Registrar-General for efficiency, and introducing a parliamentary presidential selection model that builds consensus over populism. Allowing the President to appoint expert senators improves governance, while merging the Gender Commission into the ZHRC avoids duplication without diminishing women’s rights.
Judicial appointments remain consultative, the Defence Forces’ mandate is merely clarified, and restoring traditional leaders’ political rights simply treats them as equal citizens - any code of conduct will be set by Parliament.
Public hearings across the country have shown overwhelming support from ordinary Zimbabweans who want stability and development over endless opposition complaints. This Bill is lawful, necessary, and fully aligned with the 2013 Constitution. Parliament should pass it without hesitation.

@bashi92178 @namataik_ @zhrc365 Nyarara iwee its well known that the REGIME did unspeakable things during the fake outreach programs
English

@namataik_ @zhrc365 Bring out the reports and not just speculation. You can't say there were cases of intimidation and attacks and yet there is no solid evidence of such. There individuals and organisations bent on creating the illusion of unfairness so that they smear the process.

🇿🇼Listen to Jessie Majome, the Chairperson of the @zhrc365, addressing inquiries regarding the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission's position on the public hearings for Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3. She shared that the commission observed violations of rights and reiterated that the Constitutional Amendments should align with local, regional, and international instruments. #DefendTheConstitution

@namataik_ @zhrc365 She should provide proof of the human rights abuses that she is talking about. 2 cases from City Sports incident out of 10 provinces shouldn't be generalized like that.

🔴 In unwavering solidarity with all Zimbabweans who were unjustly arrested, detained, or harassed during the Constitutional Amendment Bill No.3 public hearings.
Among them is a young, Takunda Mhuka @Mhukatakunda , who was attacked by thugs claiming he attended the consultation not in support of the bill. They destroyed at his work space, and after reporting the incident, a politically aligned youth leader in Waterfalls falsely accused him of damage, leading to Takunda’s arrest.
Today, Takunda appeared in court, and his bail application was postponed to 2 p.m. tomorrow.
Will justice prevail? Will those responsible for assaulting and victimizing this young person face accountability?
We continue to call on responsible authorities to immediately release Takunda and hold those who attacked him accountable.
Such actions reinforce the perception that Zimbabwe’s courts are captured, punishing dissent in a country that claims to be democratic. We will not remain silent. The fight for justice and true democracy continues. #Democracy

HRF condemns Zimbabwe’s regime's use of tactics of manipulation, coercion and violent intimidation during nationwide public consultations last week on dictator Emmerson Mnangagwa’s proposed constitutional changes to consolidate more power. These tactics are part of a familiar playbook that the ruling ZANU-PF has used since independence to manufacture consent for power grabs.

Pig production can be more lucrative than cattle or broiler production for several reasons. Consider this example:
You start by purchasing one gilt (a young female pig) for $450 and spend $20 on artificial insemination. After she becomes pregnant, you feed her for the gestation period of 3 months, 3 weeks, and 3 days. She will consume approximately 4 bags of feed during this time. If you produce your own feed, this costs around $60.
With good genetics, she can deliver 15 piglets in her first farrowing. You then feed the sow and provide creep feed to supplement the piglets (who are primarily nursing) for 35 days until weaning. This post-farrowing feed costs about $40.
At weaning, you can sell each piglet for $50, earning $750 in total revenue. After deducting the initial costs for the gilt, artificial insemination, and all feed, you are left with a net profit of approximately $150. The significant advantage is that you now own the productive sow. Just four days after weaning, you can begin another cycle with artificial insemination.

@ny_emman Not fit for human consumption. This is stock feed. If you must eat sadza then stick to small grains -sorghum and millet flour. Complex carbs plus low glycemic index. If it must be white sadza, then, as a last resort, do mugaiwa, not this super refined commercial stuff.
