It’s amazing when people reject the authority of the Catholic Church, then go on to become their own little Popes by claiming THEY have the correct interpretation of scripture. This is what the early church fathers had to say about this. St. Ignatius of Antioch (c. The apostles were men. What they penned in Scripture is the inspired Word of God. This is the danger of saying men told you things.. men are fallible and you have no verification without going to the Bible, which you think you can’t read and interpret without men telling you what it means.

Actually yes, as those you call church fathers are men. You call on the authority of men, whom you say support whatever you believe to be true well before the inception of the Catholic Church. So, your position, which you keep admitting is man led faith, goes even further back the the Protestantism you claim is man led faith. If you trace protestantism back it leads to martin luther. That is mans authority. That is what protestants believe in. Which is why none of you agree on doctrine.

So we are back at man is your authority. And they’re your authority because they told you they’re the authority. And if you go to the Bible to verify it, which you think they canonized and supports that they have the authority, you cannot interpret it for yourself to verify if it’s true or not because only the CC can do that. And around and around you go.
