The Church was built in 1093 by the Catholic Church. The amount of people unironically making themselves look incredibly foolish by commenting that this is “literally a Protestant church” is insane.

@JoseDel35933978 @BreeSolstad @theodoresomes Request, demand, whatever. Pedantry aside the point you completely ignored was there was a Biblical basis for the annulment and the Pope refused it because he didn’t want to jeopardize his political connections with the HRE.

@BrianRhed @Senomak @AngAesthetics If it was seen entirely as a good "in the very near past" then why in moral theology manuals people sentenced to death could run away? Something that's entirely good isn't something you can run away from for any reason

@Senomak @AngAesthetics So then why don't you (smart person) just explain it so a child could understand it? Why was it ok and even good for Christendom to execute heretics and other infamous criminals in the very near past, but suddenly doing so now is wrong?

When you see women—especially Catholics women—dressing immodestly or posting immodest photos on social media, it is your duty to charitably call them out! Especially if you’re a priest. Sorry if this offends anyone.

I didn’t say that phrase was in the bible. You did. I provided a reference to support my statement that all in Christ have a direct line to God and you rebutted by saying, “do you not understand what the phrase direct line even means in the Bible.” It’s okay to admit when you mess up or err in communication. Nobody is perfect.

@bryce_tatroe @DarrelLane4 @Truth_matters20 You said the phrase was in the Bible, not the concept. If you’re referring to the concept, then my Ephesians passage certainly applies. If you’re referring to the phrase, which it seems you were, please provide your chapter and verse. Thanks.

@deadtosin610 @DarrelLane4 @Truth_matters20 Do you not understand what the phrase direct line even means in the Bible? Did you think it was some gotcha to say "oh but we can all pray boldly to Him" Moses had a direct line to God. That didn't mean no one else could pray to God and have a relationship with Him

@bryce_tatroe @DarrelLane4 @Truth_matters20 Again, please stop. You’re just digging the whole further. This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, 👉🏻in whom we have boldness and access with confidence👈🏻 through our faith in him. — Ephesians 3:11-12

Keep reading and see you’re doing exactly what Paul is talking about: For it has been reported to me by Chloe’s people that there is quarreling among you, my brothers. What I mean is that each one of you says, “I follow Paul,” or “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow Cephas,” or “I follow Christ.” Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? — 1 Corinthians 1:11-13

@deadtosin610 @DarrelLane4 @Truth_matters20 Let's start with 1 Corinthians 1:10 "And so, I beg you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that every one of you speak in the same way, and that there be no schisms among you. So may you become perfect, with the same mind and with the same judgment."

@bryce_tatroe @DarrelLane4 @Truth_matters20 The Godhead is unified, not uniform. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are different people. Please stop just saying things that make no sense. Wouldn’t want you to tip toe into blasphemy. One body, many different members and parts. See 1 Corinthians 12.
