They are literally challenging God's authority and divine will. They do not acknowledge, nor accept, God using the affairs of man, be they good or evil, to implement His will. In other words, they do not believe the word of God is truth and He won't do what He says He will do. God warned us, there would be people come in His name to deceive. Pray for discernment, pray for guidance, pray for strength and protection to get through what IS coming.
