Think I've let it go on long enough now, I let it run because some people really showed themselves. The "rangers top" was an AI pic sent to me by someone who created it for a laugh. I could easily distance myself from it, but it's been really interesting to see the comments. My team are made up of people with all views, including hoops & gers fans who proudly wear their shirts. I'm not into football, but I'm definitely not into lumping all football fans of either teams, including those on my team, as bigots. I work across and with all communities, that's fairly obvious and well known. The starting point that all celtic or rangers people are bigots is wrong. Reminds me of the same mentality as people who give off about GAA tops being worn. There's a word for that. Its a completely stinkin way of thinking. For people who talk about bringing others on a journey, they need to start with themselves. Some of us are already on that road, it won't always be popular and yes it's difficult, but I'm not one to stand on the sidelines, I get stuck in. Most people live and let live and I'm glad that I work with and for all. No matter how many stones you throw, including personalised sectarian abuse about me and my family it won't work- why? Because this community holds exactly the same values.
