My hot take is that it's OK for Americans to not want to compete against the entire world for a job in their hometown.

Our ISR/intel shows that the #PRC has deployed over 100 vessels around the #1stIslandChain over the past few days, so soon after the #Beijing summit. In this part of the world, #China is the one & only PROBLEM wrecking the #StatusQuo & threatening regional peace & stability.

“We don't want a war. We want peace and stability,” says Taiwan’s representative to the U.S., Ambassador Alexander Yui, regarding relations with China. “We are sovereign, independent away from the Chinese People's Republic of China's attempt to swallow us as one of their own. They have never ruled or controlled Taiwan, ever,” he adds. “Those are intruders trying to get into our house. We're trying to beef up our security system. And then they complain, the intruder complains that because we're trying to improve our security system it’s making his job harder.”

Chinese pastor Ezra Jin and many others were arrested on charges of “inciting to subvert state power.” According to his family, Jin is being held in harsh prison conditions without proper medical treatment or access to a Bible. “What we’re seeing now is a renewed desire from the state under Chairman Xi to engineer souls.” WATCH “Inside China’s Shocking Persecution of Christians” by @FrannieBlock:

Fox News' @BretBaier on surveillance and censorship in Communist China: "There are thousands and thousands of cameras… when they talk about something negative about China, it goes to bars and says, ‘please stand by.’ If you talk about human rights or anything like that, it shuts off for like 30 seconds."
