@Tsladoge69 @JustAcidity @PaulineHansonOz On the Sunshine Coast qld? No. Again out of touch. Also tbh. I wouldn’t buy now as they’re starting to increase intrest rates.
English

@DarylHanson04 @JustAcidity @PaulineHansonOz Reality You earn more than me.
I bought a place only 710k 2 months ago
I know is shit place but since you have 1st one you can refinance get a better one

English

@Ironman_peter @PaulineHansonOz Yes, yes it is. It would be nice to own a place still. But it’s not the end of the world of if I never own own. Me and my family are happy, healthy and have a home. That’s what’s really important
English

@JustAcidity @Tsladoge69 @PaulineHansonOz My point exactly, good luck with your grind man. I hope something magic happens to allow you and I to achieve it.
English

@DarylHanson04 @Tsladoge69 @PaulineHansonOz The reality is, the majority of people aren't on 100k+ let alone dual incomes with both on 100k+. Im not even asking to purchase a Brighton mega mansion. I just want a regular house. I also shouldn't have to rely on having a partner to achieve that. Its a scam at this point.
English

We have plenty more than that saved but banks just simply won’t lend enough. I think people just expect everyone to be earning dual incomes that are very high.
I’m a high end cabinet maker and my wife manages retail. In a world where 2 people taking home just over 2k (AUD) a week and so far just over $100k savings. We should be able to buy a house but it’s not possible. I agree that it’s no point arguing with stupid Acidity! The more they talk the dumber the look and can’t grasp reality. “I got a house” (pre covid) now it’s gone up 3-4 x … of course shits easy for you in that situation. But the every day Aussie working full time decent jobs should be able to afford a house.
English

@Tsladoge69 @DarylHanson04 @PaulineHansonOz Save for 2 years to buy a house? Yeah I'm done trying to reason with someone who clearly is mentally deranged. I myself hardly spend my money at a regular retail job & I'm not even above the 50k mark after 4 years, let alone the at least 150k down payment I'd need to buy a house
English

We owned a unit for 10 years and due to unfortunate situations we had to sell in 2017 and we got only what we paid for it. This makes it so we have no first home buyers grant. Most houses anywhere near where I live are around 1 million for a 3 bed standard house. We have to save the full 20% deposit plus stamp duty and legal fees. the the banks won’t lend us enough with our salaries (both on decent incomes) We can only borrow around 750k. So we also need to save the extra.
And before you jump on my arse about love blah blah. A house isn’t worth uprooting my teens life when they’re both doing amazing in school and social life. As much as I can appreciate your input. Housing is out of reach for many people who aren’t already in the market or have parents to help. We know how to save and have been doing so for a very long time but in Australia shits getting out of control with fuel at $3.30/litre because we won’t drill for our own. Food is basic food and you’re talking $100 for 2 bags. Rents $800/week for a tiny duplex. We don’t party/drink ect. Basic lifestyle (home bodies) if we move to save $50-100 a week in rent we would be paying more than that in the fuel for us to then get to work. Like Acidity said. People are just very out of touch. Anyone who has bought property before the COVID property boom has no idea how hard it is to buy a house now. If it was pre COVID prices we would have a house very easy. Intrest rates are also rising in Australia so the banks are getting even tighter and lowering borrowing power. Again, very out of touch.
English

@Tsladoge69 @DarylHanson04 @PaulineHansonOz Also at your "saving", $790 X 2 is $1580 over the 20 months he has been verified. It's a rounding error in the grand scheme of buying a property. Again, most likely is spending WAY less. Most likely at the normal premium for $155 a year. $310 across 2 years won't change his loan
English

@JustAcidity @Tsladoge69 @PaulineHansonOz Someone with a brain finally, and yes. A lot of people are very out of touch. I’m paying the minimum and it’s just to use Ai and have less ads and bots.
English

@Tsladoge69 @DarylHanson04 @PaulineHansonOz Even if we assume this dude was paying for the top tier of X Premium at $77 (very unlikely). That's a maximum spending of $1540 since he has been verified. Unsubscribing isnt moving the needle to buy a house & shows how out of depth you are on this topic. It's stacked against us
English

@MKB27 @rusty634ajo @PaulineHansonOz No not at alll but it’s typical bright coloured hair to accuse someone with a different opinion to use the orange man and assume they like him. Not suprised, but what ever floats your boat
English

@DarylHanson04 @rusty634ajo @PaulineHansonOz Do I think he's deranged? Fuck yes.
I suppose you think he's pretty good and the answer to all that's wrong with the world
English

@DarylHanson04 @PaulineHansonOz So where do the ‘foreigners’ live while they are contributing $500k in annual tax revenue while working in Australia?
English

@DarylHanson04 @rusty634ajo @PaulineHansonOz Yeah why not huh?
How bad could it possibly be...
(hot tip - worse than your wildest dreams)
