My appeal to PM Modi- In order to save petrol & diesel, please make it mandatory for bureaucrats, MLAs & MPs to use public buses and metro instead of large convoys. It will also be a good opportunity for them to experience world-class infrastructure they are building for us.

However, we are deeply disappointed with the speech and announcements made during the visit. The people of Telangana were eagerly expecting concrete progress on critical long-pending projects that will shape our future: Swift approval and announcement for Hyderabad Metro Phase-2 (162.5 km) Establishment of IIM Hyderabad Immediate progress on the Regional Ring Road (RRR) Speedy completion of the incomplete Suchitra–Medchal flyovers on NH-44 These projects are essential for connectivity, jobs, education, economic growth, and easing the severe traffic crisis in our city. Unfortunately, none of these were addressed.Instead, the address leaned heavily into political messaging. In the presence of Chief Minister @revanth_anumula the Prime Minister remarked: “Aap jahan pahunchna chahte hain, nahi pahunch payenge… mere se judo” indirectly suggesting that development will flow only if the state government aligns politically. This is unacceptable. Development is the right of the people of Telangana not a bargaining chip. The Centre must treat states as equal partners, not through veiled conditions or political pressure. We urge the Central Government :Immediately approve Hyderabad Metro Phase-2 and initiate Phase-3 Sanction IIM Telangana Ground the RRR and complete pending flyovers Telangana voted with hope.
