Congratulations to Dashmesh Culture Centre Gurdwara Sahib Calgary @DashmeshC and Khalsa School Calgary @KhalsaSchoolCal on the Grand opening of the new turf field and 8 classrooms. Major accomplishment in a very short timeline.

The funds will be raised on Monday, 27th November 2023, for the affordable funeral home project of Calgary's Gurudwara Dashmesh Culture Center. @DashmeshC

🟣 The Nagar Kirtan is a pivotal event for Calgary’s Sikh community & we are humbled & grateful to play a role in this being a safe, welcoming & enjoyable event for all. Many of our CPS members take great pride in dually representing both the CPS & the Sikh community while walking the parade route, connecting with children & elders, or meeting community partners at Prairie Winds Park. Thank you to @DashmeshC & its tireless volunteers who work so closely with CPS members for months on end. We look forward to seeing you again next year & continuing this valuable relationship!

Tomorrow (May 13, 2023), @DashmeshC is hosting Nagar Kirtan, also known as the Vaisakhi Parade. Begins at 10 am at Dashmesh Culture Centre. Of note to all Calgarians: they are providing FREE TRANSIT citywide to anyone riding between 7 am & 7 pm. Join the festivities tomorrow!

We are proud to support this amazing celebration of Sikh culture and spirituality. In preparation for the parade, Calgary Parking officers will be clearing the route to ensure a safe path for all to enjoy! Be aware of detours and parking signage, and please park safely. Have fun!
