@TheStarGaz3rr I wouldn’t hate trading back one of the picks. Esp if you can snag Lloyd or Dean in FA, along with a Blankenship and Jaylen Watson who can play nickel. Then you have an opportunity to trade back and get a reliable OT, CB, and edge in those ranges.

@scottcoleman55 I actually don’t hate the move, because I do think he is going to be a super utility guy, that provides for more roster versatility. Dubon has MLB experience at every position but catcher, and allows you to bring an extra bat into the roster that may not be the best defensively.

@bhertzel I hate that RR keeps dismissing trying different OL though, because while those behind may not be better in practice, you can’t tell me there aren’t guys you’d like to get a look at, especially if we’re going to get beat by 4+ TD’s each week.

@bhertzel It’s frustrating but it’s a combination of everything. I don’t like the “we have too many new players” excuse because that’s the CFB landscape now, and the team that just beat you replaced as many as we did with an even lower rated portable class.

Hey #BravesCountry I got in a discussion this morning with one of our famous podcasts, and I started thinking that most podcasts are the same, fans or writers fussing about stuff, so Ive decided to do a podcast from a different angle. Over the years, lots of my friends who are A-Listers have encouraged me to do it, so here we go. We will do a show that takes all angles of the game, and with me being a coach, that part is easy for me, but what i need is a co-host that brings the hardcore fans outlook on issues. What i need is not just an analytical person, but one who can go deeper than numbers and talk about the human element of the game. They also can't mind getting dirty or offended when our followers disagree with us. They can't basically think their stuff dont stink, but they can openly listen to thoughts as we will not belittle you if you disagree with us. Bottom line, to me, is #Braves have taken some hits this year. They underperformed in areas, been hurt in others, and buckled under those circumstances. This winter, I think everything should be on the table. They need to revamp to get back on course.

@JordanPace39 @landiswc @grantmcauley Martin Maldonado hit .186 for the Astros in 2022. Yan Gomes and Matt Adams his .220 for the Nationals in 2019. Sandy Leon hit .177 in 2018 for the Redsox. You can’t really factor in the OPS point though because Allen has never been a slug player.
