@flyingember If a violation is not included in this, it is possible it was under another section of code enforced by another department. These violations are within Chapter 48, 52, and 64.

@flyingember This is the comprehensive dataset of property and nuisance violations from its start date until earlier this year, when the system for tracking changed. We are working to publish the new dataset.

@DataKCMO Do you have an actual list of all violations in the city available? I absolutely know one case where they got a letter in 2019 and that address isn't listed at all. So that's likely not all violations but a small subset and it doesn't say what subset it is.

@flyingember Just to clarify: what you are describing as “tickets” are actually individual property violations. Owners/tenants are notified of violations and required to fix in established timeframe. They may incur a ticket from Municipal Court if not abated.

South Indian Mound received avg 10 tickets every work day of the entire 11 years. Briarcliff West 0.014. It ends up being an 89x disparity per capita.

This is a map taken from ~800k 311 tickets from Jan 2010-Apr 2021, all shown were open 5 years or longer. Out of 31,973 long tickets, only 15 in the northland. What is going on? @Robinson4kc @QuintonLucasKC @EricWBunch @BrianDavidPlatt
