Their Coffee Is More Toxic Than Glyphosate Last week Del Bigtree (@delbigtree) and Food Babe (@foodbabe) rallied outside the Supreme Court against glyphosate. I've met these people. I exposed them in my films. They are not honest brokers. And they weren't alone. Cory Booker (@corybooker) and AOC (@aoc) are taking the bait on Glyphosate as evil— politicians I respect on a lot of issues. But not on this one. The science doesn't care about your team. The global scientific consensus is clear: the EPA, EU, Canada, Japan, and Australia have all concluded glyphosate does not cause cancer at real-world exposures. Oh — and their coffee is more toxic than glyphosate. Scientifically speaking. More receipts coming. Including a deep dive into IARC — the organization behind the "probable carcinogen" claim — and why they'll be front and center in my next project: TOXIC Stay tuned. @marklynas @bayer #Glyphosate #Roundup #FoodEvolution #ShotInTheArm #MAHA #PeopleVersusPoisin #FoodScience #ScienceMatters #Monsanto #IARC #SupremeCourt

Lost my Dad at the end of last week. He was a giant in his profession, a tremendous teacher to me, and this is an unbelivable hole in my heart.

@AndrewKaufmanMD How do hospitals prevent outbreaks of bedbugs? How do hospital cafeterias keep roaches and rats at bay? How do ERs treat Norwegian scabies? Remind me again why we don’t have plague pandemics?👇🏽 cbsnews.com/pictures/ore-m…

The conversation about Monsanto is controlled to keep us fighting over the wrong issue. The argument should not be about liability, it should be about accessibility or usage. No pesticides should be used on our food at any point. There is not a single reason that any of our crops or animals should be exposed to chemicals or pesticides.

Science is about disproving our favorite theories and hypotheses. Only by running our favorite ideas through the gauntlet of a scientific pressure cooker can we be sure the best ideas survive. By trying hard to destroy and prove our favorite theories and hypotheses false can we be sure that these theories and hypotheses are more likely true than not.

When politics drives policies that the public believes are, or should be, driven by science, that's ground zero for a loss of public trust. Activists may have PhD's, but that doesn't make them scientists. It's the hat someone is wearing when they make public statements that count.

US EPA's recent draft risk evaluation on formaldehyde got the science right. It's not finalized, and the public comment period wrapped up back in February, but this is an important step that demonstrates how to let science drive regulatory decisions. At Science for Healthy Families, my new 501c3 non-profit, we applaud when gold standard science drives regulations. This ensures regulations are based on scientific principles, not biased policy prescriptions. Capitalism requires transparent and science-based regulations, not the government picking winners and losers for political gain. Find out more on our thoughts on US EPA's proposed risk evaluation of formaldehyde: scienceforhealthyfamilies.substack.com/p/epa-relies-o… @DrLizaMD @camjenglish @Andrew_Langer -- any thoughts are welcome!

Top Line from our report: Investment Summary: We have significant scientific concerns about brepocitinib, its ability to be approved by the FDA, and if approved, its commercial viability. The VALOR trial produced a statistically significant primary endpoint result in a disease with genuine unmet need; however, rigorous scientific analysis reveals a constellation of concerns that collectively render the commercial and regulatory profile of brepocitinib substantially more uncertain than the Phase 3 headline implies. The treatment effect, while likely real, rests on a poorly characterized outcome instrument, a power calculation with material inconsistencies, a serious infection signal ten times the placebo rate, a placebo response so robust that both arms achieved clinically meaningful improvement by the instrument's own criteria, and a huge amount of uncertainty. $ROIV $PFE

@oakescs @addictedtoigno1 @MicrobiomDigest There are other ways. Finding a good attorney with a great network helps. Knowing folks at DOJ also helps. Attorneys experienced with qui tam lawsuits know how to get DOJ's attention (I guess that falls under the attorney having a good network).

@addictedtoigno1 @MicrobiomDigest thx. As I suspected long ago, the secret sauce of getting DOJ on the target of research misconduct is publicity. The only problem is that leaves “unsexy”, but every bit as expensive and consequential, research fraud unaddressed.

You know what is amazing about this?! The Lancet retracted a 50-year-old EDITORIAL at the behest of 2 expert witnesses for talcum powder litigation…(supposedly not a COI) Because the author had done some consulting for J&J….(supposedly a COI) But when you provide extensive documentation of what appears to be a truly fraudulent article that has directly affected patients - their response is to issue an “Expression of Concern”?! This type of behavior totally undermines the credibility of the journal.

I want to let you in on something. A secret operation. A quiet, well-organized conspiracy of scientists, regulatory wonks, and one very caffeinated toxicologist in North Carolina, who has been working covertly — methodically, ruthlessly — to convince the American public of a single, dangerous idea. That idea is this: Europe approved food dyes. Join the cabal. Find out more. Like and Subscribe at my new Substack open.substack.com/pub/dispatches…
