In most countries, the issues voters care about most are everyday concerns — cost of living, healthcare, economic opportunities — and these tend to be the most important vote drivers. We saw this in the 2024 EU elections: cost of living ranked top in most countries we polled.

The Cluster 17 poll found a 4% lead for NUPES over Ensemble, in line with their house effect, which better predicted 1st round presidential vote for Mélenchon compared to other French pollsters. The methodology here was generic party-based vote intention. twitter.com/DatapraxisEU/s…

The YouGov sample found a 1% lead for Ensemble over NUPES, and a slightly higher result for the extreme right lists RN and REC! The methodology included mock candidate ballots for each circonscription, aiming to take better account of candidate effects. twitter.com/DatapraxisEU/s…
