@jasondemers5 It's true. The first period of the first round looks like an entirely different sport. It's quite striking the difference honestly.

I appreciate the Leagues stance on the playoff format, and yes the league has the best first round format in any sport. But in my experience any first round matchup in the NHL is the best in all of sports. It’s like the unleashing of all the savages hopped up on goofballs (cont.)
