@ukgolfguy Interesting thread and super overview. The elite courses are pricing out many of the domestic players, but also very comparable to the elite courses in southern Spain, Portugal etc

Here’s my annual look at UK summer green fee increases
- Average top 100 green fees are ⬆️11.4% - over 3X the rate of inflation
- The average top 25 course is now £407 (up 15% on 2025)

@DeTop100Courses Love Heathland/Parkland golf too, am lucky to be a member at Guildford so have many of the top 100 courses nearby. Not much change from £200 for any of them.

No doubt golf has become expensive.
I flew from Ireland to play Liphook and The Berkshire Blue during the week so between everything it’s not cheap but I think heathland golf is incredible and is worth the effort and cost.

Go to play Liphook GC today.
Another brilliant heathland golf course just to the south west of London.
£180 green fee was super value.
Heathland golf courses are the best kept secret in golf.

The Kappa Türkiye era is almost over, so it's time to look back on the 10 outfield kits we've had in three seasons.

3-1 for @HullCity over Sheff Weds doesn't quite tell the story. Nervy at times, especially when the bottom side went ahead playing the better footy. Level through Crooks in 94 secs and ahead at 45 with an og. Joseph made it clinically safe in the 2nd. Phew! #hcafc

I know outsiders haven’t tended to win The Players in recent years, but I like a lot about Austin Smotherman: - back sounds fine (via IG) - solid debut here in 2023 after string of missed cuts in lead up - excellent at PGA National (similar type of test) - tee-to-green menace

Play Offs have been a huge success in football, no doubt. More meaningful games, more pressure, more excitement, more disappointment. A natural move IMO.

Agree with everything you have written. Would also add two other thoughts. 1) We have luck on our side for the first time in donkeys. 2) Would love to know how many open goals/simple/gilt edged chances our opponents have missed this season.
