@erin__obrien @DavidZipper @GHSAHQ I have the same experience when cycling. Not even necessarily turn on red, either. When drivers are turning right, they rarely look right. If I'm on a sidewalk or trail on that side I never trust that they see me.

New report finds that over 8,000 pedestrians were killed on US roadways in 2022.
Jimmy Carter was president the last time that happened.

@CamdenBlueRidge @Victorshi2020 So your saying that a normal American wouldn’t receive jail time for failure to pay taxes on 1.5 million dollars and wouldn’t receive jail time for lying on a federal gun application.

@chrislhayes @MatthewSitman Hard to tell if you're talking about Hotez or Fauci.
English

@MatthewSitman A deeply decent man, who’s also committed his life to research on tropical diseases that largely afflict the global south and for whom there is no lucrative pharma market.

@SlavaFuego @RepRiggleman The big problem with that is that *we* have the government that *they* deserve.
English

@RepRiggleman We seem to have the government we deserve. Sad, really.

One of the (few) downsides of retirement:
Not attending #DBWa2023
Missing seeing everyone.

@patriottakes I always read that as
"Don't make me contribute to society!"
English

@kosherhotdogz It's obviously the stick up their ass forcing that pose.

@chrislhayes If Joe Biden said pounding a nail into your hand hurts, they'd all rush out to buy hammers.

I swear they’re gonna be talking about lead being actually good for you next

Fox guest: There's just no health risk...We have this kind of air in India and China all the time, no public health emergency... this doesn't kill anybody, this doesn't make anybody cough, this is not a health event... particulate matter is just very fine soot, they're innocuous.

@DrGRuralMD Completely nonsensical why "health" coverage doesn't include teeth or eyes or ears. Or, for that matter, mental health.
English

@tkunsman I don't think clash detection is gonna solve that issue. Looks like a problem between chair and keyboard 🤣
English

@SteakandOkra @ChrisMurphyCT It's also true that people who attempt suicide by gun are FAR more likely to be successful than any other method.

sure it is, the argument is correlation versus causation. In Alaska, the furthest outlier on your graph, with high rate of ownership, they have the highest gun deaths. They average 167 per year. nearly 70% of which are suicide. Where as Illinois has about 1363 and only 38% are suicide. The majority of which are concentrated In a small geographical area, so per capita is actually distorted.

@mrdoob I agree. However, I have often gone back into old code & thought "Why did I do that? That was dumb."
Then I "fixed" it and found out why I had done that dumb thing.

@TheRevitKid We used to have a consultant that was *very* concerned about their proprietary content getting "stolen"
The thing is, their family sub-categories were:
1_RED
2_YELLOW
3_GREEN
etc, etc
Wonder where those came from. 🙄
English

Curious about #BIMTwitters thoughts on this thing I hear all the time... is there really anything "proprietary" in a Revit model...?
