@curtisarsenault @Cyresy_10 Are there any studies that show reduced injury risk with minimalist shoes? Lots of things are “unnatural” and beneficial!

@Cyresy_10 This is so unnatural for the body!! Your 2014 shoes are much much better for you than your “new” shoes. These will drastically change your running mechanics… hmu when you get injured 🙃

@garrettsbarry @glauncel @kwokho123 I’ve only ever done hanging drop at the thoracic level where I find the catheter passes easier anyways! But nope, no issue.

@glauncel @kwokho123 Nice example. I have never done hanging drop, but curious as to how it feels passing the catheter. In my mind the saline from LOR opens the space a bit for the catheter to pass smoothly. Any difficulty with passing catheter in hanging drop?

Amazing serendipitous synergy. Listened to @BryanGlezerson on @DepthAnesthesia podcast examine whether BIS ⬇️ awareness under anesthesia. Then today Robert Gauvin came to discuss BIS monitoring at @DalAnesthesia grand rounds.

@RayanMg434 @neurosaeed Not necessarily a “wrong” term - just unnecessary and complicated jargon for the sake of jargon. Though many take issue with the term accident in the name. Just call it a stroke instead!

I did my job as a neurologist today: told 102 second year medical students that if they use the term CVA in the hospital, I will personally chase them out of it.

@winterene This was the first Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Was quite a novelty when it opened in Newfoundland many years back.

Oddly enough, that Starbucks was originally licensed and did not count for my Starbucking project, but in May 2017 it was taken over by Starbucks, and I put it on my map. Wish I'd traveled there in 2019, but I cannot be everywhere at once.

Welp, it finally happened. The Starbucks inside the Chapters bookstore in St. John's, Newfoundland, was shut down last night, and even though I suspected this might happen, there was nothing I could do about it because of the border restrictions.

@RadUrbanist This will also eventually replace large surface lots at the VG site hopefully.

@RadUrbanist A competing anecdote: I certainly have had many times over the past 6 years where I have had difficulty finding parking at the HI and VG (I’ve been walking for the past year so it hasn’t been an issue).
