@RWynnedogg@stalbanscityfc It was a very good initiative proven by the attendance figures. Also brings the pricing into line with all other clubs in the division which will help to boost the away followings as well.

@whtimes Pretty poor @GNRailUK have seen fit to leave an hour gap in peak services from Kings Cross to WGC between 17:57 and 18:57. The 18:27 has vanished leaving the evening peak with a more reduced service than the rest of the day.
Hi there David, lines are open but there's significant disruption I'm afraid. The 1927 and 2027 services are showing as delayed, while the 2057 is currently expected to run on time. It may be worth heading to Finsbury Park, so you can also board Great Northern services from Moorgate towards Welwyn. ^Will
@GNRailUK hi, when is the next train to Welwyn Garden City from Kings Cross likely to leave. Everything keeps getting cancelled? Are the lines open again?
And now the 5 day build up to Guy Fawkes night begins scaring the living daylights out of most pets and wildlife. We must think again about the availability of fireworks and their impact on all animals & citizens of society🙏
A few photos that sum up the last two matches for SACFC — against Cray Wanderers in the league and the game against Hanwell Town in the FA Trophy.
Thanks to Graham Booker for sharing these photos with us 🙂
Next match: this Saturday, November 1st, against Burton in the FA-cup .
@TonyGauthier1 RIP John. Such a nice bloke. Seeing Barry in all those pictures reminds me of when I sadly had to take over as club secretary for St.Albans Wanderers when we lost Norma and I forget to pick up kit one weekend in the laundrette and John called me to let me know!
Since hearing the news of the passing of John I have been inundated with messages and people sharing stories through the years, here is just a few photos of his beloved St Peter’s FC
@bazza1115@stalbanscityfc Can’t fault the effort today very unlucky not to get something from the game, the Cheshunt keeper made some superb saves. A lot of positives I think Bazza. Onwards and upwards.
Still in shock after today two very sloppy goals to give away , after 25 mins absolutely dominated the game and put enough balls into their box to win 3 games of football @stalbanscityfc thank you to all our supporters for getting behind the boys our luck has to change 💛💙

@swanabi You’ve been absolutely brilliant on all the darts coverage I’ve seen you do this year! Looking forward to more of the same in 2025! Happy New Year!
My biggest win heading into 2025 is that I actually want to be alive. That wasn't the case 12m ago. It's been a rocky one mentally but we've made it.
To everyone whose biggest achievement this year has been staying in the game, you've done wonderfully. Love to those struggling ❤️
@GNRailUK Thanks Scottie. It would be really interesting if you are able to find out why it’s just one service impacted this week as I dont understand the logic. Surely an engineering block would impact several services not just one. This is a key peak train from WGC every morning.
@Dave_Ash77 I'm afraid Delay Repay is based off of a scheduled service and when you have been delayed on that particular service, as this service isn't running I'm afraid you would not receive a refund. We are investigating this our end, and can only apologise for the inconvenience ^Scottie
@GNRailUK Thanks, and I assume that by removing it from the timetable inconvenienced passengers can’t claim delay replay and just have to put up with a reduced service? I don’t understand why earlier and later trains aren’t impacted and it’s just this one key peak service cancelled.
@Dave_Ash77 Hi there. Whilst this service usually runs, this week it's affected by engineering blocks and is starting at other locations. We apologise for any inconvenience ^Scottie
